Covid restrictions meant the shower block was closed but the owner could not have been more helpful, as we were concerned about very wet weather and the grass pitch. He offered us a different site if it did get wetter but everything was great.
Lovely walk down to the beach without having to take the little ones anywhere close to a road which was ideal. Ice cream on site is brilliant!

I've left this review as a "young couple" because I don't see late 40s as mature and our behaviour definitely isn't haha.
Only stayed one night during covid relaxations. No toilets or showers were available. But this was explained before we booked and didn't cause a problem.
The situation of the campsite is perfect. The site itself has large pitches and you don't feel overlooked. I can honestly say I have never camped before and not heard a single person or vehicle all night.
There's a lovely walk through the farm (approx 1km) down to the the beach, which even on a very warm day in August, was virtually deserted.
The walk takes you past some of the beautiful cows farmed here to make the amazing Mr Moo's ice cream which is available amongst other goodies from the on site cafe.
Couldn't find anything to fault on the site and will definitely be back.

Lovely site, which is well maintained and large pitches. Great covid friendly check in.
It’s a nice walk to the beach through the farm past the dairy cows - fantastic beach at the end,
This was the 2nd time we had been visited the site. The ice creams are amazing

Very good value, very nice site even though it was a bit wet but we were put on hard standing in the overflow part.
Nice clean cafe/parlour with very helpful staff, a bit pricey but worth it for quality food and snacks and ice cream flavours to die for!

The site was clean, quiet. toilets and showers could be bigger and more than just 2 toilets, although they were clean and tidy
You also need more than 30 meters of electricity cable for your hook up
