Good, clean facilities, even at the end of the season (so site fairly empty).
The main bonus is having the ice cream parlour on site, but there's also a takeaway van at weekends doing Chinese food, and the ice cream parlour also does breakfasts & snacks.
Dog friendly, a 20 minute walk to the beach. Coastal erosion can make beach access a bit "patchy".

We usually prefer a very quiet site, so we thought oh my, when we saw busy carpark for ice cream parlour and busy road noise!
However, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
The site was well kept and run really well. We had a happy welcome chat with the warden and found everything very easily.
The walk to the beach was just right and there was plenty of room for everyone.
We just had to sample the ice cream and definitely worth the money. Very friendly helpful staff. No wonder so popular.

First ever time coming to a campsite, easily accessible pitch, I was met by Keith the warden who is a friendly man and had a nice conversation with him.
It has an on site ice cream parlour which even serves dairy free ice cream which is perfect for my 20 month old son who has a dairy allergy.
The pitches are tidy, nicely cut grass with not a load of clipping all over.
I will definitely be using them again.

Excellent site, very clean and well kept,
Toilet and shower facilities first class and very clean.
Wardens very helpful. Breakfast at MrMoos on day of departure was really good.
Difficult to get a TV signal but didn’t spoil our stay.

Very helpful wardens who kept the site very clean.
The showers being wet rooms were disappointing as with only 4 unless you got there before 7am they were always steamed up and the whole area wet.
The site would be a good base for those with cars but very limited for those wanting walks from site, as only safe walk was to the beach and back.

Beautiful well kept site. Peaceful and serene.
Lovely little dog walks.
Amenities were 1st class individual wet rooms with toilet and sink always clean. Out the way but not far from anything.
And best of all its own ice cream parlour next door.

Quiet site during the week, but busy at weekends.
Limited facilities - 4 showers & toilets & 1 disabled. 2 toilets near the washing up sinks, of which there are 2. All facilities are unisex & kept clean. Unlimited hot water & showers are free.
An extremely helpful warden called Keith, in fact one of the best we have come across.
Site has a good dog walk which is part of the footpath to the beach (which isn’t too far), & plenty of bins on the walk.
Visiting Mr Moos cafe & ice cream parlour a must. You won’t be disappointed.

We were struggling to get an available pitch over the Bank Holiday weekend, somewhere near to the sea at least. We came across Mr Moos site with an available pitch, so booked it willingly. It had everything that we were looking for in a site.
The directions for arrival were straight forward. We picked up our welcome pack from the dispenser as requested and made our way to our allocated pitch.
We were aided by Keith, one of the two excellent wardens, who was keenly waiting for the many new arrivals that day. The wardens obviously take a pride in their work which was evident from arrival to departure.
We were on 'Percy's Paddock' and our pitch was fully serviced and level hard standing. It was well shaded from the rear and open to the front overlooking the well maintained grounds, catching the sunshine until sunset.
The facilities were well maintained throughout our stay and the footpath down to the beach was lovely, the beach did not disappoint either. The ice cream parlour had a great range of tasty ice creams and is a popular attraction.
There is also a cafe serving hot food. Skipsea has a nice pub, with good food. It also has a convenience store, selling a good range of products.
There is no footpath to the village from the site but the grass verge is plenty wide enough to walk along safely. A torch would be essential if returning from Skipsea after dark.
One slight grumble which was dealt with and rectified swiftly, regarded one caravan unit ignoring the dogs on lead policy. They had 3 dogs, small and aggressive to people, and to other dogs. They were constantly escaping their pitch despite several poor efforts to keep them contained and controlled, , , apart from keeping them on leads! The wardens resolved the situation as soon as it was brought to their attention.
One final point to mention is that access onto the beach is quite easy from the site, via a couple of steep sandy steps. But the same cannot be said for access to and from Skipsea from the beach. That is via a chain and some ropes attached to the ground down a steep cliff, where the roadway has eroded away. Definitely not for the faint hearted. We did it, but only one of us enjoyed it!

Nice and clean but maybe a few more single toilets. And shower rooms a bit small need to be more like the disabled room.
Also There was hair drying facility before which was very handy but no longer there.
Maybe a play area for the younger children.
