We have been coming to this site for 5 years, it is now under new ownership and the sites looking good, we have stayed for 11 days, Dave & Chris are lovely people who make you feel so welcome with the help of Bill, if you want some where quite and relaxing this is the place to stay.
The site has been up dated and much improved.
Only 5 minutes from Sutton On Sea and 10 to 15 minutes to Mablethorpe And Half an hour to Skeggy.
We will be going back July and August.
Go and try it you won't be disappointed.

Since our last visit to country meadow caravan site my wife and I have purchased a static caravan based at the site, the site is now under new ownership and has been given a facelift.
The new owners are a very friendly helpful couple and welcome families with children and pets, the showers and toilets are very clean as is the utility room.
We would recommend any one who are looking for a well kept site that is surrounded by trees and is nice and quiet, just a stones throw from the beach and about 10 minutes drive from Mablethorpe. Its just a short drive into sutton on sea where there are plenty of shops and a early till late spar shop. The site has a security barrier that can only be opened with a key card, the grass is well cared for, we are returning again next month, its well worth a visit.

Just returned from 6 days staying at country meadows camping and caravan park and had to write to let you all know what we felt. To begin with we were the only families there because it was after all very early March, the new owners were very busy getting the site ready for the new season but they were never to busy to help us out, we needed medical attention whilst we were there and they headed us in the right direction and we asked them for advice about the best areas to launch a boat and again nothing was too much trouble.
The toilet block had 2 toilets and 2 showers in the ladies (I couldnt tell you about the mens me being a girl an all!) which were kept very clean and they had plenty of hot water. The showers cost 50p but I found that one 50p lasted plenty long enough. The owners were re-painting the washing up room whilst we were there but again there was hot water available and there was also a washing machine and tumble drier there
The site itself was very easy to find just off the main road and was only about a mile from the nearest pubs, shops, takeaways and restaurants. With us taking a boat with us we were really grateful of the security on the site as well because it had a barrier system for getting in and out which we found very reassuring. The site is only a small site so for us this is ideal but there is no park on there if you have children. All in all we will definitely be returning there this year and we would thoroughly recommend it especially if you like a bit of peace and quiet.

We arrived at this site on the Friday of the Bank Holiday weekend, booked in for 3 nights.
The owner very welcoming.
Toilets and Showers on site, cleaned frequently, but as usual some people did not flush, hence the toilets blocked from time to time but when reported attended to immediately.
Coming from the rural lanes of the Midlands we did find the road noise a little much, but that was because we are not use to the traffic passing our home.
The weekend away was great and our 2 dogs were made very welcome.
Thank you to Alan may see you again.

My girlfriend and I spent four nights on the site staying in a tent. The facilities were good and always kept clean. The couple running the site were friendly and helped us out in any way they could.
Altough we didn't pay for electric they let us charge our phones in their caravan which was a nice touch. They couldn't do enough for us, but also did not intrude.
The site itself is basic but all you'd want from such a break. Sutton-on-sea is walkable
We enjoyed it so much we're off back there in a few weeks time!

The site is run by very welcoming and friendly people, our children really enjoyed playing with other visitors,
the site is quiet enough for them to play while we enjoy sitting in the sun relaxing watching them or joining in with them, there's a very nice atmosphere at the site.
The dog enjoyed it too and there are lot's of lovely walks close by.
All of the facilities are kept very clean and in good working order. We had a lovely relaxing time during our stay and will be very happy to return next year.

Stayed at country meadows with our 4 year old daughter end of April, start of May. First visit to the site,
It was a little hard to find as we followed directions from the AA route finder, ended up phoning site and owner met us on the drive.
Nice safe site with barrier that you have a card to activate.
Plenty of space around pitch very flat sheltered with mature trees, it was a very windy weekend but with the trees you hardly felt it.
Shower block basic but clean, 50p to operate shower, pot wash area with washer and dryer,
Booked to go back at the end of May.

I would strongly recommend this site if you want nice peace and quite,
Its got nice clean showers and toilets,
Just a short walk to beach and about a mile outside mablethorpe centre. Very reasonable rates as well,
Most of time you can just arrive and he could have room for you, if you decide to come back the week or so after, as we did, we left caravan on site at good rates instead of towing all way home,
Overall a very nice site and people

We have just spent six nights here at 'Country Meadows' in our family tent. The site is located on a bend on the main A52 and is not easily spotted even though there is a sign. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Upon arrival you are issued with a key card for the barrier to the site and shown where to pitch your tent or park your caravan.
The site itself is level and surrounded by mature trees ensuring a level of protection from the weather. There are loads of electric hook-up points should you require them. The showers and toilets are clean and well maintained, there is also a washing up/laundry room adjacent to the toilet block.
There is no shop or club or any other facilities on site so it is a quiet and relaxing place. That said, families are made very welcome here, even to the point of the owner coming out one evening to join in an impromtu football knock about with the children of three families who were camping here at the time.
I can definitely recommend this site to anyone, we will certainly be making a return visit.
The site is about mile or so from Sutton-on-sea town centre. The beach there is really clean and life gaurds are on duty all day so its a safe beach for children to play and paddle. There is a very clean well maintained paddling pool near the beach as well but there are no other children's amusements in the town (perhaps a good thing?) If you want rides and slots etc Mablethorpe is only a couple of miles down the road. The 'Dolphin' fish and chip shop on the main street is excellent, and certainly worth a visit.

Visited this site for a long weekend with our young children. The site is just off the main road between Sutton on Sea and Skegness, so can be a little noisy, however not too much so.
This is a small site with plenty of electric hook-up, and a small toilet block with 2 toilets and 2 showers in the ladies and gents, plus a separate washing up area with disabled toilet. You need a 50p for the showers, and it took me two 50p's for enough to have a normal shower and wash hair - electric showers so weak but warm. The shower block was only cleaned once a day, and over the weekend got quite grubby at times - and ran out of toilet roll a couple of times as well. The cold water pressure from the taps was very high!
No shop on site - not a problem as there are plenty in Sutton, however there are also no freezer facilities for ice blocks.
Location was good for proximity to Sutton, which is a lovely quiet seaside town with a very nice beach and children's paddling pool, and a world away from the amusement arcades of Mablethorpe and Skegness.
