A very quiet site, loved it!

Nice, flat sight, great views, fantastic location, able to walk to pubs, ideal bases for Longleat Safari Park

Thankfully, it is small, because there is only one shower (toilet within shower cubicle) and a separate toilet. Washing facilities in same wooden chalet. However, it's very clean, and good lighting (apart from when you come out of the the challet at night, it's pitch black.

Really helpful owner and good value for money. We had electric hook up too, and still good value

Absolutely fantastic! Lovely peaceful site surrounded by fields, no man made / traffic noise whatsoever and only a couple of streetlights way in the distance.

Beautiful views, clean and homely shower, loo and washing up log cabin and very friendly owner.

A nice little path has been mown around the owner's land for a 20 minute walk past fields, a pond and an orchard, with the odd bench along the way; a lovely touch.

Can't recommend highly enough.

Handy for Bradford-on-Avon, Bath and Longleat.

This is a lovely campsite and excellent facilities. You need a map to find it, as it is off the beaten track.

Owner extremely pleasant and helpful.

Toilet block small but adequate for the number of people staying on the site. Facilities cleaned regularly. Not too many pitches, so nice and quiet. Amazing value for money, compared to many other sites we have stayed at.

Easy to drive to Bath and many pretty surrounding villages. Beautiful countryside. We will definitely book up for another visit!

We thought the site easy enough to find. Take the first road on the right (coming from the north) signed South Wraxall and not the second, it is slightly wider (but not much!).

Access to the site itself is ok. It is situated at the edge of a field and is rather exposed to the prevailing winds. We also thought it a little expensive at £12 with ehu.

The facilities looked ok, but we only used the loos. When leaving, if going west,

Don't attempt to tow through Bradford on Avon, nor through Bath. There is a B road from the north of Bradford which connects to the A36 which is the best way.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Orchard Farm, we had a little trouble locating the site but had a bit of help from the local pub staff.

When we found the site (a small sign outside) we were very pleasantly surprised. The space is enormous and the views breathtaking.

There are 6 electric hook ups and a separate space without hook ups.

There is only 1 shower and 2 toilets and as the site got busier it was a question of queuing for your turn.

Very nice toilets and shower as if it was a bathroom at home with handtowels, soap and air freshener already laid out.

Owner was very friendly and helpful, pointed us in the direction of supermarket.

We still cant believe it was only £12 a night, it is such a peaceful location and very friendly with everyone helping each other if needed.

Only a short drive into Bath where there is lots to do.

There is not a children's playground on site but ample room for them to run around and play games. (No kite flying as there are electric cables overhead)

We would definitely return to this site.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Orchard Farm which is a lovely quiet, well-kept campsite in a great location, with gorgeous views across Wiltshire.

The site's owner is friendly, welcoming and was incredibly helpful in ensuring that a new gearbox for our campervan arrived safely! I can't speak more highly of him.

As for concerns raised in the other review - access to the campsite really isn't an issue at all as the road was perfectly adequate to fit a hige Winnebego-style campervan staying during our week's holiday.

Yes, there is only one shower/toilet and another separate toilet, but it was always clean and there was only one occasion where I had to wait to use the shower (which was excellent).

The King's Arms pub in Monkton Farleigh is definitely worth a visit. We ate there a number of times and the food was incredibly good. Nice beer too. It's about 25 minutes walk from the campsite and walking back in the dark along the quiet road is absolutely no problem - just take a torch!

We will definitely be coming back here this year.

What a welcoming site. This site has a small but adequate toilet and shower block with unlimited hot and cold running water. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner even though my sat-nav had taken me to the wrong address, a simple phonecall was all what was needed to guide me in.

The site comprises of a large five caravan pitch and ample places for the tents to pitch in a separate field, the views were lovely, the owner had cut a swathe into his wild flower meadow to make plenty of space to take the dogs for a walk.

Nearby attractions are the quaint town of bradford on avon and plenty of other little villages scattered around the area. It is also sited close enough to the city of bath for us to go and see the old Roman baths and to visit No 1 the royal crescent with its adjoining park.

In my view well worth the stay and from a rating of 1 to 10 I would give it a 10 without a doubt

Lovely peaceful site although difficult to find initially. Facilities lovely but only one shower and one extra toilet so would be concerned if busy. Also lock did not work on the toilet door.

Beautiful views and walks. Access for caravans and trailers limited as narrow road for access.

Lots of wildlife and views over golf course.

Description states pubs in walking distance but would not be happy walking along the narrow lanes at night to access these.

Sainsburys situated a few miles away in Bradford on Avon with a good all round variety or products.

Located half an hours drive from M4.

Lots of space for children to play but does not have a play area as such which is nice.

Rules on dogs would be advisable as dogs seemed to allowed to roam free and not kept on leads or under control which isn`t advisable when you have young children.
