We have just come back from a weekend camping at wild camping and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The site was very clean, the owners were really friendly.
There are two toilets and a shower with warm water. Much needed after our soggy weekend!
The owners sell logs, eggs and will even rent you a fire pit which we loved, a great idea!
The site is quite far out but there are supermarkets not to far away for supply's and many attractions not to far away.
We will definitely go back to this site in the future.

Very pleased to discover this lovely sheltered site. This campsite does exactly what it says on the tin. Its basic but beautiful and natural. We stayed for about a week and were able to have a campfire most nights.
High hedges surround a small, well kept, level field, with a larger 3 acre field next to it. There's a tap in this smaller field - the one we camped in - and also the shower and loos are here - not sure if there is another tap in the other field.
Wind is not such a problem here but the sunlight goes fairly early in the evening as it drops behind the hedge. We had a lot of rain so couldn't say how dry the field generally is under normal conditions.
The children were very happy here - lots of play space to run around in and a horse to go and see. The owners seem typical farmers - bit grumpy as per but also caring and looking after things - the showers and loo were basic but clean and free. There are just two loo's but that wasn't a problem. We didn't worry about security, leaving the tents etc as the owners live on site, close to the field, in the farmhouse.
There is a lane that goes past the house to a derelict space of scrub land near the coastal path and this was good for walks and blackberrying, although bit spooky at night.
Its a good location if you have a car - lots of the best beaches within 5 minutes, especially Kynance and also Cadgwith fishing village.
We wanted to camp here again the next year but the prices shot up - almost doubled - and so we looked for something cheaper but would definitely recommend this site which is excellent for anyone who is just starting to get into a bit of wild and natural camping and especially with young children.

A quiet site which has three fields - a small one near the toilets and two larger fields with plenty of room around your tent and the site is level. The site was not busy so we could choose where we wanted to pitch and as it was windy and wet we were able to pitch within the shelter of a hedge. The owners are friendly and you can buy eggs from the farm and firewood if you want to borrow a brazier. The facilities are basic - two toilets and one shower which was OK for the number of people on site when we visited.
The site is about a mile from the nearest shop or pub - but it is not too far from the Lizard, Helston, Goonhilly and other sites in the area.

We found this site when camping elsewhere and decided to move pitch to this one. It has a safe friendly feel, short level grass, and high sheltering hedges. No views but nice lanes to explore.
We had plenty of space for the children to run about - we camped on a small field near the loo's and there was a 2-3 acre field next to it.
We had a camp fire most nights and really enjoyed ourselves. Very basic facilities, but sufficient and cared for.
With fresh eggs and wood to buy from the owners, it was good choice of site for our 'retro' camping experience.
Lovely beaches within a short drive away.

Arrived at rose-in-the-valley after spending 1 horrendous night in a nearby noisy campsite. We turned up quite late in the day and were warmly greeted and reassured that we'd have a quiet night's sleep. That we did. The facilities aren't numerous, but they are clean and well maintained. The sight wasn't overcrowded and we were free to pitch where we wanted. Campfires are allowed and the owners sell wood and kindling if required. It's in an excellent location and the owners were happy to advise on places to visit, eat etc. If it's peace, quiet and open spaces you're after and a personal touch from the owner, farmer Peter, then this place is definitely worth a visit. We will definitely be returning .
