 Please note Beauly Holiday Park is under new management from 01/11/16 (previously known as Lovat Bridge)
The park is currently undergoing a major upgrade and many of the 75 pitches will be hard standing for the 2017 season.
They will also be upgrading the toilet and shower blocks, building a children's play area, and at the bottom of the park will be building a 6 acre nature reserve with trails and bird hides.

Lovely site - beautiful riverside location, quiet and well kept.
Toilets were very clean and nice looking.
Showers were free and unlimited hot water. Large shower cubicles.
Only a short walk into Beauly which has some shops and restaurants.
Cheapest site we stayed at this holiday: £25 for motor home, 3 adults with hookup.
Onsite bar was closed but reception staff were extremely friendly. Probably a bit quiet for young kids (and river very fast flowing) but would definitely recommend for adults.

Stayed at lovat bridge for a week in April
Had a fantastic stay in a lovely site beautifully maintain
Facilities where second to none with excellent toilet and shower facilities very clean, also have a lovely bar at the entrance to site with great selection of drinks all in all had a wonderful stay at lovat bridge and can't wait to return excellent value for money. Owners very pleasant and extremely helpful.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Lovat Bridge Holiday Park.
The site is in a beautiful setting with the River Beauly running alongside the campsite.
The owners are incredibly nice people who are obviously working hard at the ongoing upgrading.
It was very quiet when we were there and do feel that only 2 showers in the ladies is going to be nothing near the amount of showers the site will need when busy.
The toilet/shower block is brand new and very nice. The toilet roll did not seem to be refilled often enough though.
One real gripe I would have is this - if you go to the toilet when it's dark outside the lights in the toilet block are on a timer. If you're any more than a few minutes you're left in total darkness! I learnt quickly to take a torch with me for night visits to the loo.
The windows in the shower block are small but very low and face out onto the main road going through the site. Although the windows are frosted I still felt a little bit 'exposed' when it was dark outside and the light was on in the shower cubicle. Maybe a covering for the windows wouldn't go amiss.
There is a small pub on site which is ran by a delightful elderly gentleman. It has a wood burning stove - much appreciated by us campers!
The pub is open until 1am - again much appreciated by us campers! The pitches were very flat and well drained.
We would go back to this site but not during the busy season as I feel there would be queues for the shower. Lovely couple who run this site though

Management response: Please note, since this review new owners have taken over the site - November 2016 - and since then have spent over £750K on improvements, including a new toilet block, tarring all roads, creating new pitches, fixing electric systems, fixing drainage building a nature reserve etc etc. |
