A huge amount of money has gone into this new (Spring 2017) 120 pitch site located 2 miles outside Shrewsbury. The sizable pitches are fully serviced, the facilities block with its high tech equipment is spacious, the welcoming reception has a café/bar outside pool and hot tubs (think mico Centre Parks), fantastic adventure playground, numerous organised activities, very friendly staff, and even a dog bath area with its own drier!
The site is an extension to Salop Leisure and shares the same access of the (very busy and fast) B4380 just off the A5 Shrewsbury ring road, but the size and scale of the site can be problematic dependent upon the allocated pitch!
Reception is located almost ¼ mile from the entrance to Love2Stay/Salop Leisure and the touring site is located on an elevated plateau with most pitches being a further ¼ mile from reception. Whilst the elevated location provides panoramic views it currently offers no shelter from the elements and prevailing winds. The well-equipped facilities block is located at the entrance to the touring area and is a hike for most pitches. The site only has one chemical waste disposal (in the facilities block), and only one refuse area for recycling/general waste located adjacent the reception area ( ¼ mile from touring area!).
The management has put a lot of effort into this site and they provide great activities for family parties. Travelling off site on bikes or foot is problematic. The NT Attingham Park is only 2 ½ miles from the site, but you have to travel along the B4380 which is used as a race track by some motorists. Visiting Shrewsbury on foot or bike has a similar problem as the road is a major route into town off the A5. A footpath running the length of the River Severn can be accessed just off site through a field. However the footpath is not well used and was complete overgrown at the time of our stay, making it unusable.
At the time of the visit building work was still ongoing (glamping pods and some of the activity areas). These should be completed by Autumn 2017.
Overall, it should be a great site once the building work is completed and the vegetation and shrubbery becomes establish. Love2Stay - BUT the location is a problem if you wish to explore the area on foot or by bike (certainly with young or inexperience riders).

Just like to say this site has just opened. What a lovely site staff really helpful, toilets / showers are out of this world the best I've been to, there are still working on site to finish off, swimming pool excellent,
The only down fall there his no shop for food, newspaper etc that means drive in car to shop and after night of drinking means a no no make sure you stock up with food. The cafe there only really could get burnt pizza and 50 min wait, so they could do with looking at Salop Leisure cafe cause they have excellent food there. But after that yes I will be going back its lovely site. Hope they can learn from people with feed back

We have just returned home from a 2 night stay at this site. We were the very first 'campers' to use this site and I have to say its going to be wonderful. As it is still new, its not completely finished, but what was finished is 5 star. The toilets and showers are gorgeous and very clean and the wardens just couldn't be anymore helpful. The pitches are all large and very well spaced out, there is an outdoor BIOTOP pool that wasn't open but looks so relaxing surround by plants and is by all accounts very good for the skin. There is a delicious Italian pizzeria with a proper pizza oven and we sampled a couple too!The kids had a great time on the adventure playground which has plenty to keep them occupied. We will definitely be visiting this site again soon and look forward to trying the Spa Treatments on offer! For an unfinished site we were completely bowled over.

This site is next to Salop Leisure which is a very well run company selling caravans, statics, and has a garden centre. We store our tourer here. There is very easy access to the site. Pitches are level and well spaced, all pitches have EHU water and grey waste, good TV reception. There is a small cabin with one shower and one toilet which is adequate for the five pitches. The caravan sales area is to the rear and lovely views to the front of the pitch across fields to the Wrekin hill. This is a good stopover for for traveling into mid Wales or indeed visiting Shrewsbury and the beautiful county of Shropshire. National Trust site Attingham is a short drive away (3 miles) and Church Stretton approx 8 miles where there are great walks at Carding Mill valley.

This is a new cs only opened about six weeks ago and has got a few early teething problems. It is part of the salop leisure group, and is situated next to it.
I booked in at the main reception desk and was met by a very friendly young chap, he was not too familiar with the procedure, but eventually accessed the computer and found my details. He told me that the fee was £25 per night I informed him that when I booked it by phone I was told it was £20 per night (which I thought was expensive for a a cs) he said that's fine £20 is ok. He then issued me with an electronic fob for the electric gate operation, and took me to my pitch.
I must say that the pitches are very nicely laid with hardstanding and drainage and water on each, with nice views of the countryside.
The toilet block was basic but the one shower was boiling hot on the minimum setting and virtually non-adjustable. All that said, I went out for the day and returned at 10pm to find that the fob would not operate the gate and I had to borrow one from another caravanner as there is no one on duty after 5pm,
That problem solved, the whole sites electrics tripped out at 10:30pm and there was no one available to sort out the problem until 09:00 the next day. I will not be using it again
