A most lovely site and warm friendly welcome from Walter & Jane including fresh eggs, it is a credit to them both. A nice thought of the BBQ and seat area. We went with friends and had 12 days here some of rest and some out round the area. It is only a 10 pitch site we spoke to some people staying who go there regular we will also return again at some point.

Lovely site quiet and peaceful. Walter and Jane really helpful. Very well organised nothing too much trouble. Amazing place, had a relaxing time massive pitches.
Toilets and showers spotless Impeccably clean both facilities and camping area. Owners are very nice and make you feel welcome.
Well worth paying the extra couple of quid and camping in this tranquil well maintained campsite.

First class people first class site. So peaceful and really well manicured. Highly recommend as a base to see Lancashire.
To give a tiny constructive criticism.
Make it more obvious on website and site signs that electricity is on a meter system and you have to pay separately. Hence we left without paying. Luckily our friends were staying longer so paid bill for us. But felt bad once we found out. We thought electric was inc
Not to take anything away thou. Great site thumbs up:)

Absolutely brilliant site, very clean and well run by the owners Jane and Walter who were very welcoming and friendly. I can honestly say this is by far the best site we have used so far and we will be returning very soon. Nice surprise box of eggs on arrival(very tasty by the way). Very quiet site exactly what we have been looking for but not too far from shops, food outlets and nearby Poulton /Blackpool. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Jane and Walter xx Mr and Mrs Harper x

We stayed at this site for two nights. On arrival we pleasantly surprised to find the owners had left us some eggs a welcome to there site which we though was a lovey gesture. The site itself is for adults only. The site is very clean and tidy. Pitches well spaced out. The toilets and showers are adequate for the size of the site which are kept very clean and tidy. We would highly recommend to any one wanting a quiet stay. Every one we meet were lovely and down to earth. We will be going again as we loved it so much.
Thank you

Brilliant people who are very selective when booking people onto site. Walter and Jane will only have trustworthy well behaved adults on what is a very well kept and looked after site. Great base for visiting all the areas around Blackpool and trust me there are some lovely towns, villages and coastal resorts. I was slightly disappointed that they are no longer part of the camping and caravan club, but I was prepared to go back as I knew that it was so peaceful and a well maintained site with excellent facilities and owned by nice people.

This is by far the best site we have stayed at in all our 4 years caravanning, it’s a immaculately kept site with only 10 pitches in a donut shape and best of all no children.
We came quite a few times last year, over Easter this year and intend to come back as much as we can.
It has all you need, metered 16A EHU, toilet & shower block, toilet waste, waste & fresh water area etc and a BBQ area as well.
It’s a credit to Jane & Walter who run it and also run the farm next door. A nice touch is you get some fresh farm eggs on arrival
It’s only a few miles to Blackpool sometimes we go to shows while there which is handy for us as we prefer our caravan to hotels.

We prefer (Adult Only) sites, simply to have peace & tranquility when away. So my search was well worth it when I selected this particular site as had no desire to actually be in Blackpool.
This site is 10 out of 10, at first when you arrive you wonder where are you going as you can't see the immaculate & well kept site con sealed behind the hedges.
An absolutely beautiful site & what a truly nice person Jane (owner) is & makes you very welcome, even got fresh farm eggs from her as a welcome, truly lovely & sincere.
We decided to pay £20 per night for a 3 night stay and to us £60 for 3 nights was well worth it as when you think about most sites are £21, £22 per night & some a lot more, so it was worth every pound.
Also accepted our dogs & no extra charge for them, so have absolutely no complaints at all.
Farmers have a very hard working life & I would far rather support a private farm site than the big multinational ones, that is my preference.
Thank you Walter & Jane & we hope to return to stay at Charoland.

In a word - Quality! A lovely site run by a lovely couple, Jane and Walter. Nothing too much trouble. To save even more typing, I can only endorse all of the foregoing comments- except concerns about pricing. Well worth it for (now) £18 pupn on hook-up + electric used. Probably THE best we have visited when it comes to the standard and maintenance of facilities - the `Ritz-Carlton' of sites. It certainly encourages users to leave them in the same excellent condition. Not just the normal `hole-in-the-ground' Elsan point either. It spoils the choice for other sites. We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 6, reluctantly needing to head home.
Wife Susan and I loved every minute, taking advantage of the short trips to Fleetwood, Blackpool, St Annes, etc, from a great location with decent access for our new 5. 74m Compass Casita unit on it's maiden outing. We hope to return, next year if not before end of this October. The comprehensive `Local Info' binder loaned on arrival was a nice touch as were the eggs - very useful.
You are in a private, hedge-enclosed circular-pattern site with just 10 pitches. A grassed central area has seating and barbecue stand. Yes, you can sometimes just hear the nearby motorway, a moo from the beautiful cattle or be caught in the loo without torch, but we have no hesitation in recommending Charoland Farm to anyone wishing for a relaxing, peaceful stay in a quiet, backwater setting away from the Madding Crowd.
Thanks to you both from Malcolm (the Metal Detectorist) and Sue.
