This is an immaculately kept site located ideally near the motorway junction of the M55 and A585 resulting in most destinations being accessed easily. A small adults only site with only 10 pitches including 2 motorhome so if it's quiet and peaceful you like this is the place for you. All pitches are a good size, level and grassy with hard standing area for car and caravan. The toilet block is almost new and very well designed apart from the PIR operated lights which turn off too quickly OK except in the toilet cubicle in the gents where you're sitting undetected. Simply sorted, if taking a book take a headlight. This was our first visit but hope to return as often as possible. N. B. It is very strictly an 18+ site.

Excellent site with very good facilities. We had one of the 2 pitches specifically for motorhomes which was very level, no chocks needed, how often does that happen? Very peaceful adult only site with extremely well kept grounds. Obviously a lot of thought and care has gone into the layout of this site. There were even 3 friendly lambs in a paddock next to the campsite when we visited. Jane and Walter were very friendly and helpful providing us with a useful folder with all the usual site information etc and also some lovely free eggs. The Indian restaurant on the main road is excellent with consistently good food, so good that we ate there on 2 consecutive nights. Highly recommended site which we will return to as often as we can.

This is our second visit to this site - management informed me that they are no longer affiliated to the camping and caravanning club and are now a licensed operator with the local council - new shrubs have been planted this year and the site is very appealing - the sixteen amp electrics are metered so you pay for what you actually use - seems fair to us - the toilet and shower blocks are very clean and hand gel is provided - hand gel and paper towels are also evident at the disposal points - I should point out that there is no fee for the pitching of a caravan awning - for the high standard of facilities I deem the pricing structure to be good value for money - bear in mind that Charolandfarm is in close proximity to Blackpool and the surrounding area where demand in very high - hopefully we can return this year for another visit

Just visited this site over the bank holiday weekend and found it a pleasure to stay for 3 nights. We were greeted with complimentary fresh eggs and could not believe how tidy the site was, a real credit to the owners. Not a big site but all the facilities you require and the cheapest site electric I have ever had. Good location and very quite and peaceful, nothing negative in my opinion and the owners very friendly.

This is one of the nicest campsites I have stayed on. It is so neat ad well kept set in lovely rolling farmland. Each site was marked out with plenty of space for awnings, cars etc. The facilities, although limited, were spotless with plenty of hot water for showers. There is a lovely BBQ area in the middle, forming a roundabout, surrounded by an unusual leylandii hedge with laurel growing through it. There are plenty of walks around around especially if you have a dog. There are some lovely villages nearby with nice pubs and small shops. There is an Indian restaurant within walking distance. If you want to visit Blackpool it isn't too far away. I would recommend this site to anyone.

This is lovely quiet site, very clean and well maintained, convenient for Blackbpool, Fleetwood and Lytham. There is a communal space in the centre with benches and a barbecue. The surrounding area is quiet, the nearest pub is about a twenty minute walk. For shops you would have to drive. We were greeted with fresh eggs - a lovely gesture and they were tasty.
We visited for a change of scenery and to save a bit of money, and although it is a lovely site we won't be visiting again. £19. 50 a night is too much for a CL site even with 16amp ehu. Lovely though if you don't mind paying.

Management response: Please note, the comments in this review are based on cost for a CL site. As of 2017 we are no longer CL site, and we are very competitively priced within the surrounding area. |

A very well laid out site with lots of room. Highly maintained and we'll look after by the owners. Very welcoming on a river with a gift of free rang eggs what a nice thought. Grate location for Blackpool and surrounding area. Hope it remains a little gem but also wish the owner good look with this site. Will be visiting again very soon.

Immaculate, peaceful, friendly site, can't wait to return. Sheltered grass site. Owners looking to develop further. Level slabs for wheels, Mesh in the grass for parking. Electric hook ups, of course there are. Toilets and showers brand new. Near enough to Blackpool. What else can I write about this wonderful site?
