We stayed for 1 night in our motorhome to get away from the noise of living in central Ipswich! What a delightful and well kept site! There was no-one (owners) on site when we arrived (although we had been told to expect this) but everything was as described. We found our welcome pack and chose a pleasant spot. Each pitch is generous and well laid out with neatly mown grass. There is a central water point and also a grey water disposal point. The toilets and shower blocks are very modern and immaculately clean with lots of hot water. There is also a covered washing up point. Being an adults only site it was lovely and quiet and everyone respected the site and the privacy of others. Email correspondence with the owner was pleasant and flawless.
Thank you, we will be back when we need some peace and quiet again!

What a great little site, well set out & spacious & very peaceful. There are only 2 toilets & 2 showers but we very rarely had to wait & they are well maintained. The Wi-Fi signal was good but the internet kept dropping out, probably BTs problem not the owners. We would definitely stay again if we went to Suffolk again. The only things I would say that would improve the site are, 1: the water in the washing up area could be hotter. 2: the hand driers in the toilet are too low, I'm short & I had to bend down to dry my hands.
All in all an excellent site.

What a beautiful site. A lot of thought has gone into this. Everything is spotlessly clean and cared for. The owners are really helpful and friendly. Leiston is a short distance away with all the shops you would need. I would definitely recommend this site and visit again.

Just spent 2 nights on this site pitch 10 large corner pitch (first time). The site is well cared for and clean. Showers and toilets spotless. Had the best weekend ever so peaceful and relaxing. Although close to the road it did not effect the peace and quiet. Leiston is just a five minute drive where you have a supermarket, butchers, pharmacy and takeaway shops to name but a few; everything you will need. I cannot recommend this site highly enough. Myself and partner will definitely be back.

Just had a 3 night break at this lovely adult only 20 pitch site. The owner informed me that the local authority would not allow them to knock down the existing building or extend it and they would not allow any other building to be put up. They have made a very good shower/wc ( 1 each male and female) block from what they had to work with, it was clean and had plenty of hot water in the showers and in the outside washing up sinks.
There is no shop on site but a 5 minute drive takes you into Leiston which has all you need.
All pitches have e/h and a drinking water tap is central to the site, there is another one in the entrance to the site along side the grey waste/chemical emptying point.
The owner was very helpful and friendly and although not on site are only a phone call away and respond very quickly if called.
The road going by does get busy at times but we did not notice any noise from the vehicles, site has trees to 3 sides making it a bit of a sun trap.
Ideal site if you want to visit Minsmere RSPB nature reserve or the coastal area a bit further afield.
For those who like me like a tipple or two there is a pub a short walk (5 mins) away, Pub serves good beer and very good food. But be aware when staggering back to the site as there are no pavements.
A very good clean site at a reasonable price we will be coming back.

Have just spent a lovely weekend at this delightful, adults only site. We arrived with friends and collected our welcome envelopes from the box, as described by Samantha - the Owner. We had booked 2 pitches next to each other and she had allocated them for us and reserved them with bollards (this is an unmanned site) we parked up and sat having a cup of tea, taking in our surroundings. The pitches are very generous and laid out with their own electric hook up point.
The grass was beautifully cut and the whole site well cared for.
There is a modern toilet, shower and washing up block. (1 toilet and 1 shower each for men and women. ) Both toilets ran out of loo roll on the Saturday morning but 1 quick phone call to Samantha and she arrived to re stock them and cleaned all the facilities.
There is a Pub just down the road - The Theberton Lion which serves lovely food, and a reasonable walk to the Eastbridge Eels Foot provided well earned refreshment (and food if required).
Highly recommend this site.

Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at Sycamore Park. Very clean site with spotless toilets and showers. Even with the heavy rain it was still easy to access your pitch even though they are not hard standing. Very peaceful even with being located next to a busy road. Ideal for the seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold or the quiet beaches of Sizewell and Dunwich. Minsmere RSPB just down the road and a local pub serving good food around the corner.

Spent last week under canvas in Sycamore Park. The campsite is small(20 pitches), very well maintained, and in a lovely central location. The booking and reception system are excellent, and the staff helpful. The area abounds with interesting places, be it birdwatching(minsmere 3 miles), history and archaeology(Dunwich, Sutton Hoo), or just the local towns(Southwold, Aldeborough, Saxmundham). The site is dog friendly, and the facilities are modern and clean. There is no shop, however Leiston is only 15 minutes away, and has a large Co-op, fish and chip shops, and other take aways. Parking in the area is cheap, with the exception of RSPB and National Trust sites. We will be back. Our visit was in September, 2015, with tent.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived on the Frida. Y the site was lovely. Very clean the toilets and showers was spotless. The site was also spotless. It was a very relaxing break. We thought the road was going to be a little noisy but it wasn't. We would have like to have seen the owners of the site they never came all the time we were there, as think it would have been nice for them to make sure everything was okay with the people using there site. My friend that we were with mentioned that a security gate would have been a bonus as it would give you peace of mind knowing that you would feel more secure, I tend to agree with her on that one

We stayed here for 5 nights and would definitely stay again.
The site is peaceful and has a very smart toilet and shower block. The washing up sinks are outside these but are under cover, a light comes on automatically when approached after dusk.
Although the owners aren't on site we didn't find this to be a problem, although I can understand previous suggestions of perhaps an electronic barrier being installed to give peace of mind.
It's just a short stroll to The Lion Inn, a nice country pub with a new landlord, Tom, who runs it with entusiasm and pride. We don't tend to eat out when camping but the food looked good. My husband was very happy to have a choice of 5 real ales there which were all well kept.
Another pub well worth a visit is The Eels Foot Inn at East Bridge.
The Crown Inn at Westleton however is over priced charging £7 just for a glass of wine!
We stayed at the site due to it's proximity to Minsmere RSPB reserve, where we spent most of our time, but can also recommend Southwold and Orford for a visit.
There are plenty of shops at Leiston, including a Co-op, 5 minutes drive away.
My only down on this site is the fact there is only one toilet/shower per gender which I feel would be inadequate at busy times. Also, a blind is needed at the window to the showers rather than just frosted glass. We mentioned this to the owner and he said he'd been made aware and was going to be rectifying it. Hence 9/10.
