Not much to add except site very busy over bank holiday. Beware £5 'late departure' deposit which we weren't told about over phone. Nice site for children with large sandpit, good play area with equipment and badminton net. Toilet blocks just about adequate as many larger caravans obviously had own facilities-but they definitely need modernising.

Arrived at the site on Friday, absolutely spotless, all the grounds are very well kept . Even the very large play area for the kiddies is very well maintained. Showers and toilets are also very very clean. Very friendly owners, would recommend this site to anyone who wants a nice peaceful break away. Will definatly return very very soon. Tariffs are very reasonable.

We stayed at this campsite as an overnight stop on our way to and from Devon. The site is fairly close to the M5 (Junction 9) and has good access from the A46. We found the owners very accommodating and even supplied us with a free extension cable for electric hookup. The site is level and well serviced, toilets are more than adequate with hot water to hand basins free but a charge is made for use of the showers, there is a large play area for children and there is also a large exercise field for dogs. Overall we can recommend this site to anyone travelling from North to South requiring an overnight stop or possible longer stay.

Our second camping experience was a bit of a washout over the last bank holiday but thanks to the Long Carrant amenities and lovely surroundings we had a good time. Travelling from Wales, the site was easy to find and right across the road from the services (which of course had a shop, a cafe, and petrol). The site has clean toilet blocks with hot showers (50p) that lasted longer than expected. They also have a wash block with a couple of sinks, lots of hot water and that too was very clean. The campsite has lovely views of surrounding hills and fields and even though it's close to the main road, we hardly noticed traffic noises. We camped in the top field which was close to the playground area, so the kids were happy. It's a separate field with some playground equipment and goal posts and a net for badminton so there was plenty of room for them to run about and play ballgames without irritating the neighbours. There were quite a few caravans in the site and not many other tents from what I could see and the tents that were there were gone by Sunday night. My husband said that in the office they have a menu for an Indian takeaway that delivers to the site--we were tempted but didn't try it. We were also told there was a pub about a 10 minute walk away--again we didn't get the chance to try it. Maybe next time we will, because we intend on going back. It's a short drive away from Evesham and a good place to go about seeing the sites of the Cotswolds. The people running Long Carrant were nice and friendly, which leaves a lasting good impression as well. Highly recommended.

Picked this campsite as could not get in one we have used before. Was initially a bit worried as could not find much in way of information about it. The site was situated directly off a main A road and was easy to find. Road noise was well silenced by trees etc so it was quite idyllic. Was initially slightly disappointed as there were no electric hook-ups left which had been promised. Site itself was very clean, good kids adventure playground etc. Toilet & shower block was a little outdated but was obviously cleaned regularly. Had to pay for showers, not sure if this is a usual trait as have not been to that many sites. Staff were very friendly, and would definatly use this site again, only one other snag in that the drive gates are locked at 11pm each night if you are driving out and not arriving back till late.

After deciding on the Friday of a Bank Holiday weekend, to go caravanning with friends in tents, we really struggled to find anywhere available to take us all in (8 adults 8 children), and at the last minute we found this site. There was very little information available about them, but it really was a case of having no choice.
When we arrived, we were delighted. The site was easily accessible from the M5, and well signposted. The owners were exceptionally helpful and found us a spot right next to the childrens play area which was great since we had 8 children between us. The pitches were flat and well maintained, The site is very spacious and we were able to sit outside and have a few drinks and a laugh without being in anyone's way (I hope!)
There was a nice pub within (15 minute) walking distance for a drink and a larger pub/restaurant a 5 minute drive way.
The toilet block was clean & tidy-3 loos in the ladies, 2 showers (50p), and a hairdryer (I think 20p but I didn't use) . I didn't check the gent's facilities! Normal water/waste facility but also a room with washing up facilities for campers).
The site had separate areas for caravanners and campers, but were easily able to accommodate us- 1 caravan 2 tents, and provided us with an extra long cable for hook up.
All in all, a really lovely site. No hesitation in recommending.
