Stayed here over the spring bank holiday weekend. As expected it was very busy. On the plus side the staff were very friendly, the toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water and the dog walk was handy and nicely done around the perimeter of the site. On the down side, do not go to the site if there has been any quantities of rain. It is very boggy and you are likely to spend the weekend squelching through mud. Also we were squeezed very close to the pitch next door. There were less than six feet between our awning door and the door of the trailer tent next door. The management really need to exercise a bit more control over how people set up on their pitch. It just all felt a little too crowded. Finally, although the showers and toilets were clean, there are just not enough wash basins on a busy weekend, we only found three for the gents. In all quite a nice site but I am unsure as to whether it deserved it' 'four stars'.

We have been to this site many times and have always had a warm welcome and a relaxing break. A nice dog walk a lovely club with good beer and very nice food and a well looked after childrens play area. Havent tried the fishing but every one seemed to have a great time

We stayed here for a weekend at the end of November and unsurprisingly enough the place was dead, it was a very cold (but dry) weekend. We were offered the pick of the park and chose the pitches next to the playground as there were two units and some of the others seemed a tad boggy.
The site is flat and can take about 35 units, all pitches appearded to have electric hookup points. There is a good playground on site and the kids are not allowed in the play park out of daylight hours so that would save on noisy kids at silly hours bashing about in the park!
There is a small shop on site selling the essentials and gas excahnge is also available on the site.
The facilities were spotless everytime we used them and always kept nice and warm. The showers were superb and powerful with plenty of hot water.
There is a clubhouse on site that does provide entertainment during the summer months but was very quiet when we were there although it is used by the locals. We fould the drinks and food to be reasonable, 4 alcoholic drinks and 4 soft drinks, all for £16, approx £5 for a cheese toasted sandwich, £5 for a burger!
They have their own fishing lake onsite, with about 31 pegs, so plenty of opportunity to fish, but get there early! We did not fish so cannot comment on the stock etc. There is a dog walk area that spans the perimeter of the site.
There is a small post office about 1 miles from the site but the opening hours are not that great, a bit further down the road you will find a Costcutter with better opening hours and a wider range. If you requre a major shop then there is a massive Tesco in Kings Lynn, about 8 miles away.
Kings Lynn itself has great shopping, restaurants, nice walks etc. Also in the local area they are family attractions, walking and good cycling as the area is very flat.
Overall, the site was a good site with very friendly owners who made us very welcome and I would come back again, but would not eat in the clubhouse due to the cost!

Been to this many times very friendly a good pint and very clean toilets and showers. Will go many more times - we're not fishermen just like a friendly quiet site. Wisbech very close a nice market town and Hunstanton only 35 mins away on a good day.

March 2005 Can't fault this site, the facilities were fantastic. Showers and toilets were being constantly cleaned and the whole site was immaculate. The club house was warm and friendly with a good atmosphere. It was definately a family site as there was a play area for the children, which was always busy. I would say that this site was aimed at those that enjoyed some serious fishing as, unless you had transport there wasn't much else to do, but we had a lovely weekend relaxing with a occasional beer at the club house. Will definately be going again.
