We had three nights at this wonderful site. We had a very warm welcome from John and chose a position near the woodland. John told us that they had not long taken over the site and had lots of plans for it. Some of the work was evident in the woodland with a new bridge and steps. The facilities were spotless and the grounds were beautifully kept. The hardstandings were small, but John was planning to replace and improve them. The lighting was charming and low level which we always like. It was a peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would definitely recommend it.

Lovely lovely site. Fantastic setting with a really quiet feel. The showers and toilet are very clean and we'll maintained. Short drive to local pubs and conwy town. We will be visiting this site time and time again. Very good value for money too. Cheers

Super little site has been recently been taken over and the new owners are making lots of changes, well laid out pitches with plenty of room along with some hard standings, Wifi is being installed shortly along with dishwashing facilities for smaller Campervans. Wayne is a super guy and very welcoming we will certainly visit again,

We're back again to this lovely caravan site. Lots of space for your caravan and awning on all pitches. Each pitch is marked out and levelling the caravan is a dodle. It's so peaceful and so many places to visit in short distances from here. Well worth a visit.

My second time at Wern Farm. Love it because its not overcrowded. At a guess holds about 20 spaces. Owners are very friendly as are the campers. Showers very clean. Just a friendly pleasant place to stay. Not far from Conwy about 10 minute drive. Lovely pancake house on the way to Conwy, follow brown sign for Water Gardens, lovely walk around gardens. Couple of pubs on the way, but didn't try them.

This is our most favourite caravan site. Situated in the unspoilt Conwy Valley yet close to Conwy, Llandudno and Snowdonia. Run by a very friendly couple who keep the site very clean and the gardens always seem in colour. Plenty of room for children to play where parents can keep an eye on them. It's a gem.

We have just returned from spending. A few days at this site. What a wonderful find. The site looks immaculate and is just that. The toilet block is clean efficient with copious amounts of hot water. Each pitch has a clever hard standing with space for wheels and entrance and the grass is kept immaculate.

The site owner could not have been more helpful, checking a couple of times everything was in order. All for £13 per night

The only down side, though small, is that the site has only 10 amp electric supply so don't boil the kettle run the TV and use all the lights at the same time as you might blow the fuse. Lots of close by walks and the Town of Conwy is only five miles away we will definitely be back

Lovely site just outside Conwy. Small, takes 15 caravans, all sited around a central grass area. Very well kept and very tidy. Showers and toilets always clean. Lots of regulars, the owners, who are lovely, friendly people, seemed to know everyone by their first name. Good value for money and a lovely quiet relaxed site. Mainly couples there did not see any small children, but lots of space to play if you did take children. We will definitely return.

We purchased our first caravan from conwy and Wern farm was where we'd chosen to stay for the evening as we travelled from Yorkshire and didn't know the area well, I chose the site from here due to it's short notice availability and decent rates.

The location is wonderful, the access is slightly daunting for a first time tower having to squeeze through tiny tunnels of the castle and then facing winding (airpin) steep (extremely) narrow roads into the welsh mountains. Access to the farm itself is fine however you will miss it (like we did) if you don't know exactly where the turn off is (sign for site just after the entrance, small and in green - camouflage! tip: look for the bus stop on the left). If you do miss it don't panic! There aren't many places to turn around but keep going until you hit the pub and you can manoeuvre the caravan round in their car park before heading back up the lanes to the campsite - don't miss it again or you'll end up back at conwy castle with the mousehole to squeeze back through (and it's dozens of scrapings on the walls from poor victims of misjudgement (luckily we weren't one))!.

The lane from the road down to the pitches only fits 1 car & van so if you were to be unlucky enough to meet someone half way up/down, one of you would have to reverse the whole way back which I can imagine being very difficult, it's quite long and a little windy but other than sacrificing his sheep's fields I can't see a way around this and the owner has placed mirrors up so you can see as far as possible. I would recommend someone popping up to the entrance for you to ensure the path remains clear, I'm sure fellow towers would appreciate this too rather than being faced with that predicament. We did risk it and we were ok, we left just before lunchtime on the Monday.

The campsite itself is wonderful, so picturesque, flower beds, gorgeous gardens, benches etc. The owners are humble and welcoming, welcoming dogs and children and offering their help. We had to stay an additional evening at emergency notice as the electrics failed on our tow-bar and their guidance and advice of the area and amenities was priceless.

The site is upheld wonderfully with shower and toilets being close-by and clean - the water is hot, the grounds are manicured to perfection and there is a little woods with mini-stream the children can play in (less than ankle deep). My little boys loved playing on the site and even kicked a football round which disturbed no-one due to layout of the site. There isn't a play area but I can sense the site doesn't have many kiddies, we figured it had quite a few permanent pitch-ups and we were by far the youngest campers there but it didn't mean we didn't feel welcomed, my little boys made friends with some of the older couples who they kept amused on their trips round the site :)

The pitches are hard standing and spacious and at £20 a night we were very happy (electrics included).

Be careful not to overstay your welcome, after 12pm on the day of departure you will be charged an extra £1 per hour up to 5pm where then you'll incur an additional overnight stay fee - it's a business at the end of the day.

On the whole yes we loved it and we were very happy with the site, we would go back for sure (but we found some other sites avoiding the mousehole entrance via the castle in conwy that we might also check out in future too).
