The on site entertainment, arcade and pool were great for the kids. Food from takeaway was awful. This has to be one of the worst touring sites I have stayed on.
Toilets old and shabby, pitches small and cramped, field turned into a swamp and management not intersted in sorting problems.
As always with Haven, tourers are classed as second class citizens.

We went to Devon Cliffs for the first weekend in May. They have done a lot of work on the resort and still doing more.
The touring area is not huge, and I would imagine packed in the height of the season. If you are in a tent be sure to get a pitch towards the back of the area as it does slope away at the front. The Toilet/Shower blocks are ok, need a little tidying up but ok. Family wash room, but this can get very wet under foot. Washing up room.
If you use the facilities, and have small children, be sure to take plenty of change! There are loads of amusements.
Overall the site is good. Designed mainly for the static caravan market. It is very hilly. We did enjoy our stay and would go again, but I don't think it would be at busy periods...

July 2003 Spent two weeks here last year and must agree with the previous reviews. On the bright side though my four children loved it as there was so much to do and they were kept busy every minute of the day so dont despair if you have already booked. We had the opportunity to move on after the first week as we had also booked alternative sites but had decided that what this site may have lacked it more than made up for in entertainment and facilities.

April 2003 I agree with Mrs Doolan, i normally love the Haven camp sites, but this one was awfull. The pitches are so very small and the front of your tent/trailer tent is actually almost touching the road. One driver hit a caravan while driving past. The veiw and entertainment is great of course being Haven, but if your camping BEWARE. We did get told though that they would be spending next year and are about to open up a new (far nicer) camping field. Let's hope so eh!! I'm going back to Littlesea again this year. It's excellent there.

April 2003 This is one site that we would not be returning to.The place is more like a town than a caravan and camping site.To find the pitches for our trailer tent, we had to follow a one way system and kept getting lost, along with a lot of others,we might add, so it was not just us.The pitches were terrible. The grass had not been cut and the ground was really badly uneven. The ladies shower and toilet block was always leaking and getting blocked and smelt something awful. Cleaned once a day, which wasn't enough even at the beginning of the season. We expected better than this for the price that we payed. Entertainment wise it was exceptional, especially as it is all brand new. Plenty to do for children of all ages. Pity in the meantime that they neglected the camping site while building all of this. They had plenty of take aways but take it from us, the food was terrible and expensive. Sorry about the doom and gloom, but that is how we found this site to be. With all the complaints from different campers, lets hope that they have now done something about it.
