Well what can I say, great stay from start to finish.
Site was massive, very friendly, shower and wc blocks amazingly clean, staff on site really friendly, one guy even helping a lady and her 3 girls put up there tent.
Security vans patrolling the site day and night. Club house entertainment was good (except the 'magician') loads for the kids to do during the day with 2 pools, although they should be bigger for the size of the site.
All in all I cant recommend it enough and will definitely be taking my family back again.

We stayed here for our first ever camping holiday! Initially we found our pitch really hard to find, as no assistance was given (apart from being handed a basic map) to find the pitch, and the numbers had worn off the flag stones marking the pitch. It was also not clear whether to park in front, to the left, or to the right of the flagstone.
However, it was a good site to start on as there is a shop on the site and really lovely shower/wash/toilet facilities. They were on the whole clean, but by the evening they did become untidy. The pitches are quite close together, so you will be near your neighbours! There was also of entertainment on, but most of it was child-orientated.
The location on the top of a cliff is really beautiful. You don’t get any direct views from the campsite, but we walked the dog on the large grassy area behind the static caravans, and really enjoyed the view
The reception desk was definitely understaffed, so be prepared for a queue when you arrive.
I would recommend this site to families, as the amount of facilities and activities for kids is really great, but maybe not the ideal place for a couple wanting a quiet retreat.

Just returned (9/6/12)from a week long stay. We booked 2 EHU pitches and were pleased with the spacious flat ground on 20 & 21, there are a lot of pitches on a slope. First few days no problems with pitches until the heavy rains which turned the ground into mud. The mud problem only got worse over the following days.
Toilets and showers were kept really clean, the cleaners seemed to work all day. Closest to the tents are large portable cabins which were quite modern and you didn't have to keep pressing the shower on button. A bit further up the hill was a large toilet block with disabled & family rooms.
I was informed by the children that the play park on the camping & touring site wasn't very good. The park on the static side was better, but a long walk from the tents. All the clubhouses, swimming pools etc are situated on the static site, all O. K. But pool was packed as it was school holidays.
I possibly would return in good weather when Haven have their deals on, but I would definitely ring the touring office and check the condition of the ground and book a flat pitch.

Really enjoyed our long weekend here and had a lovely flat basic pitch which was in easy walking distance to the immaculate toilet and shower blocks, which were the nicest I've seen.
Paid only £20 for 4 days on an offer which was great and included free passes.
My boyfriend and I were able to chill out and enjoy the lovely weather and scenery, while my 3 older sons could go to the clubs and arcades when they liked to have some entertainment or play football.
The whole site was clean and the free swimming pool was great and lots of things to do. A few places to eat but a bit more pricey than usual.
In very easy reach to Filey itself which has a wonderful beach and small friendly town with a lovely bakery and good pub serving a carvery on sunday, which we enjoyed, and a handy tesco.
Hope to visit again next year.

Overall the site was very good value for money. I stayed in a tent one night it cost 10. 00. There were areas of the site that were muddy, but that was to expected due to all the rain we have had, some areas had been closed off. I had a choice were I could pitch and the staff was very helpful advising myself to the best areas. My friend was in a tent with hook up and didn't have a choice, pitch was ok, muddy when they left as they stayed longer. The showers etc were very clean even with the site being muddy in parts. The entertainment, pool etc was included in the price. Good site for families, lots for the kids to do. Good location for the coast.

This was our first venture with a caravan so we thought a Haven camp would be a safe bet, and it was. We stayed 4 nights and had a great time.
The facilities are very good and clean, the pitches are in good positions, and the fact that touring caravans are away from the static caravans is great, but to be able to use all the facilities is a bonus.
A very good first time caravanning experience for us. Would definitely use Haven sights again.

On arrival our pitch allocation and 'welcome' pack was ready so we quickly made our way to our pitch. Unfortunately, the allocated pitch was already occupied and a return to reception was required. When we got back, someone else had been having the same problem, however we suggested a vacant pitch to which they agreed.
That evening we decided to go to the 'Showbar' but found that there was no 'passes' in the welcome pack however as we had the Grandchildren with us, security overlooked it on this occasion advising us to see reception next morning. This we did attending at the touring reception opening time of 9. 00am. Unfortunately by 9. 20am on a freezing morning we were still waitng for someone to turn up. This being the second time we have visited this site, (albeit the last)it would be fair to say that it has improved, the toilet block is second to none and was always clean. The entertainment staff are hard working and never seem to stop although the rewards/prizes given to the children who take part in competitions are an embarrassment.
Overall the park is value for money providing you plan your activities carefully and avoid those which exact an extra charge.
The biggest negative is the distance the touring park is from the main entertainment complex.

We thought the fee was pricey, but made allowances and were looking forward to going as we knew that Haven and Butlins were owned by the same company.
The site was clean and the toilets / showers were immaculate. The staff seemed helpful and there were plenty of them.
There is a SPAR on site and the prices (although we thought were slightly elevated) were not too bad.
The arcade and function rooms felt a little run down. We were disappointed with the offering of convenience fast food shops (Pizza and a burger bar) although there was not really anywhere to sit down and eat except tables outside which was great considering it was cold, windy and wet!
The site is not too far from Filey (A 10 minute drive) which was good as Filey has great beaches for the kids.

We have had two short breaks here to try our new van out, weather wasn't great but we had booked a euro pitch. Although newish they are not level but they are a lot better than the grass pitches. The second time the television ariel did not work - reported it but no one came out. The toilets are superb and the cleaners are there first thing in the morning till late at night and keep them spotless during the day, even though the weather was wet, very wet. A little lack of security as anyone could drive on the site. Free passes for the entertainment. We ate at the mash and barrel the first time and it was spot on and not badly priced. Good shop on site that was quite good on prices. Would go again as long as I could get a euro pitch

Just back from our Easter Break at the Blue Dolphin. Stay on EHU tent pitch 56 which is at a incline but hay ho that's life,
there is portable cabins in the tent field with loos, showers and pot washing facilities which were blocked at least twice a day while we were there.
The main shower block is only a short distance so tended to just head straight for those, apart from that can't fault the facilities.
Ideal place for families, plenty to do which made it not exactly the ideal place for us, nothing against kids love to hear them playing just not at 11.30pm and then on a couple of occasions the party goers being loud and lairy.
But that isn't the sites fault, would we go back wouldn't be out first choice but yes probably.
