Second visit to this site, which we don't normally do, and I can only echo the other reviews.
Staff friendly and helpful on arrival.
Big hardstanding pitches some are fully serviced and have great views.
The toilets are award winning, and amongst the best I have ever used.
The walk into Padstow has a some fairly steep sections so it may be a walk down and bus back.
Tesco very close so perfect to stock up.

Wonderful campsite ! Staff were super friendly. Lovely big pitches. Clean and modern showers and loos. A different food van arrives every evening offering excellent food at a great price. Camp shop is handy sells everything you need ( apart from newspapers) Although we didn't have children with us I must say there is the best kids play area I've ever seen, looked like great fun ! Easy walk into Padstow which Passes a tesco, but not far in the car either and easy to park although during the school holidays it may be different. One beach is walkable from Padstow which leads to hawkers cove, they other bays you really need to drive to, well worth is as they are stunning and all but two are dog friendly. A visit to the Cornish arms ( Rick steins pub) is a must, again dogs are welcome. Loved it and will definitely return :)

Hi all, this is the best site I have visited in cornwall, the people running the site are the friendliest people you could ever wish to meet, the site is second to none, it deserves 5*****+, the site is kept immaculate, the grass and hedges are well cut and trimmed, the road ways are all so clean and tidy, the toilet blocks and showers are like brand new and spotlessly clean what ever time of day or night you use them, the shop is well stocked and not silly prices, the staff will cater for your every need with a beaming smile on there faces, don't book anywhere else book here with 100% confidence only 1 mile easy drive to padstow, what more can I say, great people running the site and a overall great site, from mark and carole in the green been campervan with the 15 year old dog, see you soon for another great holiday.

Just returned from a lovely holiday at this campsite. All the facilities were 1st class in my opinion. The park is very well cared for with a lovely play area which my children loved. Very nice atmosphere and all quiet by 10 pm. The position of the campsite was fantastic, very handy for Padstow, Camel Trail and lots of breathtakingly beautiful beaches. The staff on arrival were pleasant, friendly and informative. Pitch sizes were very generous, room for caravan, full awning, car and huge bit of grass too. My only negative is that we had a large pine tree at our pitch which dripped water very loudly on to our caravan all night when it rained (and continued to drip, drip, drip for quite a long time after the rain stopped! Aaaaargh!) We would definitely return but would request a pitch with no tree on it.

This was our first visit to this excellent site which fully deserves its 5 star rating. The pitch allocated was a level hardstanding with a grassed area for lounging, own water supply and near to reception. We were very well received upon arrival and everything was clearly explained to us about the site and surrounding area. I doubt the toilets and showers could be improved upon, very high specification and spotless. The walk into Padstow, directly from the site, is a very pleasant 25 minutes which borders fields and hedgerows and don't forget to take a torch if returning after dark. While we were there the Fish and Chip van visited and the cod and chips with mushy peas was as good as you can get anywhere, even from Rick Stein's and about half the price as well. This is not the cheapest 5 star site we have stayed on in Cornwall but, the facilities and location make it very good value indeed.

Booked this site for the Obby Oss Festival after seeing the reviews on UK Campsite and boy was I pleased with my choice. Has to be the best campsite I've stayed at! Facilities are modern, clean and second to none. Its a nice distance out of town but Tesco's is within a short walk and it's a pleasant stroll too. We had wet and windy weather during our stay but pitches offered some shelter and nicely spaced without feeling cramped in. The number plate recognition on the entrance also makes you feel safe and secure if you leave to go off exploring. We decided to stay on another night where we were so happy there and the team managed to accommodate us without any fuss. Will certainly be returning. Many thanks for making such a great weekend!

An outstanding campsite in a fantastic location. Spotless loos and hotel-standard shower blocks (two, one with underfloor heating) with sensible arrangements of hooks and curtains/doors to keep clothes dry. Spacious, well kept pitches. Lovely children's play area. Delightful staff, well stocked shop and a small cafe. Perfect - and we had amazing blue skies in April. Good wifi for a fee but can only work one device at a time.
The walk to Padstow is a good half hour across stiles and down a hill - lovely at all times of day. We took bikes and cycled the Camel Trail one day, went to Trevone another. We also took the ferry and walked Rock to Polzeath and back. The only day we took the van off the site, we went to Lanhydrock at Bodmin and had a fab time there, enjoying the new off-road cycling track as well as beautiful gardens.

This is a great site. We have stayed here during the Easter holidays for the previous 3 years and plan on returning, again and again. Booking and checking in are easy and friendly. Staff on site are friendly, helpful and hardworking. Each time we go there have been improvements to the facilities, last year it was upgrading the play area (which our 9 & 7year olds love) and one of the toilet/shower blocks and this year the other toilet/shower block have been given a facelift. The site is always well maintained and attractive, the toilet/shower blocks are always clean. There are plenty of showers & toilets and we never had to queue. The showers were always lovely and warm. The ladies now has an extra area with additional mirrors, hairdryers (which actually dry your hair!) and sockets for your own dryers/straighteners.
There is an on site shop and café but we didn't use them so can't comment.
The journey to the site is easy, no danger of getting stuck in a narrow Cornish lane, if you follow the directions on their website. The site is close to Padstow's park and ride, £4 per car, very handy during busy seasons.
This part of Cornwall never fails to wow us with its beauty and stunning coast line. We think this is a fantastic site from which to explore the area. There are endless wonderful beaches to explore. The Camel trail is lovely. We hired from Padstow Cycle hire and stopped at 'The Shed' cafe in Wadebridge (very friendly staff and delicious bacon sarnies, huge hot chocolates!) When in Padstow try the yummy produce at the Chough Bakery and Harbour Ices. Chips Ahoy is a delicious and queue-free alternative to Rick Stein's takeaway.
Can't recommend this site highly enough, we love it.

Fantastic site. Ideal for families or couples alike. Very impressive toilet block with first class showers and baby changing facilities which are kept immaculately clean. Close to numerous safe sandy beaches. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Dogs welcome Safe play area for children. There is a walk directly from the site to Padstow via a public footpath where there is easy access to the Camel Trail an historic disused railway ideal for cycling and walking.
Our second visit and we are even more impressed this time - we will be back!
All in all a gem of a site.

Went to Padstow to visit a friend for a few days and found this wonderful site on UK campsites. I was very warmly welcomed on arrival and found all the staff I spoke to during my stay to be very helpful and polite. The campsite facilities were excellent, spotlessly clean and very modern. The shop is well stocked with all the basics and a few extras too. I sat in the coffee lounge and read for a while it was a pleasant way to spend an hour or so.
I took my sat nav with me but knowing what they are like I also noted down the directions from UK campsites, which my sat nav followed perfectly and I ended up a mile away from where I wanted to be, but got there in the end after calling the site and getting further directions. I will be using this site again. Soon.
