First visit to a caravan club site. Toilets/showers are large and clean, pitches are large but mainly on sloping ground. Cromer/Sheringham 3 miles away. Narrow lane on entrance cutting thru a golf course !Cannot give a full review as it was raining all weekend but what we saw we were happy with.

We stayed at this site on the weekend that it snowed, and have stayed here the year before that too.
The site is very picturesque with wonderful views, surrounded by trees with lots of little niches to park your caravan in. There are lots of walks, with a pub within walking distance and a hotel nearby. The toilets and showers were spotless.
We enjoy staying here as there are many off road tracks nearby which are ideal for family cycling. Its an ideal base for Sheringham and Cromer too.
Have booked again to stay this summer.

Loved this site, friendly helpful wardens and lovely views to the sea.
The pitches are well spaced out and really well designed so in some areas only room for three or four units. So feels really private.
Good facilities about the site and all very clean etc.
Yes we would go back to the site even if it does mean crossing part of a golf course to get to it!

Second year in row at west runton for our main holiday. We love this place.
Friendly and efficient wardens. Large site but you wouldn't know it away from the 'family field' well lanscaped and feeling of privacy on pitches.
Clean well maintained facilities.
There are some great walks straight from the site. To cromer or sheringham or just to the beach or venture further afield by car.
A visit to cookies crab shack on the sheringham to wells road is a must.
All in all a 'bootiful' part of the country.

Our first major trip out with our new caravan so we decided to stick with the area that we had experienced with our tent, although this was our first visit to this particular site. Big place, well laid out but a bit regimented, maybe this is because we are used to more casual tent camping. Showers great, loos always clean. Nothing else though, a good touring site but be prepared to going out every day unless you like sitting between your caravan and your neighbour's car. Wardens very helpful in suggesting pitches suitable for beginners. We know the area well so went out every day, mundesly beach is a great day out. Would recommend this site, but be prepared to go out every day.

July 2005 Great site, wardens very friendly and helpful. One of the most diverse sites I have ever been on. Some thing for every taste. Large spacious open areas, tree lined pitches, woodland secluded pitches, terraced pitches. Car with morning papers round the site, ice cream van early evening. Fish and chip van twice a week. One word of warning however as you enter and leave the site you have to cross one of the golf holes between tee and green - we had a near miss on one occasion so we treated it like a junction and checked first before crossing

July 2004 Really excellent site. You can choose from pitches in the open area to areas with only a few to little nooks where you can be on your own. The facilities are very good, and the place has a peaceful, spacious feel about it. The views over the golf course are lovely. There are a lot of wooded areas nearby to walk, also Cromer and Sherringham can be reached on foot if you like a good walk, though there is a good bus service in the summer and the train nearby. There are pubs and shops in the village. This will go down as one of my favorite sites and I will be back for sure.

August 2004 Spotlessly clean with good facilities.Levelling blocks essential om most pitches, pretty spectacular views from nearly all parts of the site.Staff friendly and un obtrusive.Childrens play area on site and dog walk nearby.Handy for those who don't want discos and noise but Cromer is reasonably near and local shops are only a five minute walk.We will be going back.
