Stayed here for 6 days and had a wonderful time.
It is a lovely peaceful little 5 hook up adult only site with a shower and a toilet. The owners are very friendly and its nice to watch the horses in the schooling area.
The views of the Malvern Hills are to die for and even although the Three Counties Show was on, the roads never seemed that busy. The people in this area are really helpful and friendly. Views from the top of the hills are amazing and with lots of car parks and pathways, are very accessible indeed.
Malvern spring water spouts are on the roadside at the foot of the hills and it is free to collect in your own bottles and is lovely and clear and cold.
The Marlbank Inn in Welland is a friendly pub where you can sit outside, inside or on a covered terrace to eat and drink. Dogs are allowed in and made most welcome with a dog biscuit and a bowl of water! Clives Fruit Farm near Welland is a great place to have lunch. Had the best ploughmans lunch I've ever had.
Lots of places to visit in the area - Upton, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye etc. We will definitely be going back here even although its a long drive from Scotland!

This is a nice 5 van CL set on the Castlemorton Common near Welland. Its worth noting that there are no sign posts for this site from the main road.
The entrance is across the common and the last 500 yards are along a bit of road that is unmade. Having said that it is worth it when you get there.
Site is in a small field overlooking the schooling area of the equestrian centre. There are some lovely views of the Malvern Hills beyond. There is a little bit of road noise from the traffic to and from the equestrian centre but during the evening this does stop and starts up again about 8.30am. It is only noticeable because the vans back up onto the unmade road leading the the centre.
The facilities are basic. There is one shower and toilet in the same room. This is on the far side of the stable area. The website states the cost per night includes everything but there is an honsety box in the shower/toilet room where they suggest 50p per shower. The money from showers is donated to the pony club, however I don't think it is right to advertise an all inclusive fee and then ask for more when you get there. The toilet area did not appear to be cleaned during our stay and there were no cleaning implements (mop & bucket/cloths etc)left for this to be done by the users. We ended up using our shower in the van.
The owners were very friendly. The surronding area was lovely. We were lucky enough to get great weather for our stay and went out each night for a cycle ride. Visited the 3 counties show, walked the hills. It has to be said that some of the views from the top of the Malverns are probably some of the best we have seen. Local people were incredibly friendly. This was our first visit to the area but definitely not the last. We only stayed 4 nights and didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted.
As with a lot of CL's we found the CDP and waste water area a little on the 'YUK' side. It is also quite a distance from the van field.
If you like birds it is worth noting that we saw a green woodpecker and bullfinches during our stay along with lots of chaffinches, sparrows, magpies etc. The horses are turned out into the fields surrounding the site on an evening. You are advised not to feed them but they were friendly and liked to come for a pat. There was a lovely foal only a few weeks old called Marley - he was a little gem and already very friendly and liked a good rub.
All in all I would visit this site again because it is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area. Its only a 5 min drive to the 3 counties show ground, 5 - 10 mins drive to the carpark areas for the Malvern Hills. Although the facilities were not what we were expecting we could use those in our van. Good price only £10 per night, which we felt was a fair price for the facilities on offer.

This is a lovely site. The only slight problems are the track to the site, which is a bit rough, and the distance from the site field to the facilities and CDP. There are 2 loos and one shower and the price is £10 per night inclusive.
You will receive a friendly welcome from one of the owners, Liz and Ian, who will leave you alone thereafter but are always around if needed.
The field is level with 5 ehu points and a tap, through a gate which must be closed after you. At night there is a second gate to negotiate.
There are lovely views of the Malvern Hills and it's also easy to get around; Welland village just up the road is on a bus route. There is a Post Office / shop in Welland selling basics (and an excellent caravan / camping shop next door). Upton, 4 miles away, has a Co-Op and Spar and lots of pubs. Great Malvern and Tewkesbury are lovely small towns.
