This is a really nice Caravan Club CL site, will take five units all on hard gravel standing, (levellers still required)
the toilets/washbasins (2) are kept really clean with hand soap supplied,a single separate shower also free is available,
The site is clean and tidy, with views over the surrounding countryside. Very quiet of a night, yet within easy reach of Lancaster and Morecombe, plus plenty of outlaying villages to visit,
We pre Booked and on our arrival was met by one of the owners who greeted us and was very welcoming informing us where all the facilities where,
One of the Best Cl,s we have visited to date, @£12 pn not the cheapest but you get what you pay for these days

This 5 van certificated site is superb - from the initial phone call I made enquiring about availability where I was greeted by a very friendly lady.
The pitches were well spaced out with EHU near each one and were all clearly marked. The toilet facilities were, in my opinion, top class - 2 separate rooms each with a wash hand basin and wc (one of them was adapted for wheelchair users) and the third room housed a shower. They were spotlessly clean and hand soap was provided in each room.
There was a variety of recycling bins, each clearly labelled. Chemical disposal and grey water waste is next to bins.
TV reception was excellent (hoorah).
All in all I would give this site 10 out of 10 and we will definitely be returning.

One of the best CL's around with large well spaced hard standings although some not level. Lovely far reaching views of the surrounding countryside and bay.
Clean toilets and shower facilities that could do with better heating but I as most CL users don't use these facilities except in hot weather.
Large field adjacent for dog walking with even better views. Easily accessible from motorway.
At £12.00/night or £75.00 for 7 nights makes good value.

This small Caravan Club Members' only site is a real gem if you want a base to explore the varied countryside and attractions of North Lancashire, the Southern Lakes or just a overnight stop on the way north or south.
I was recommended to this site as a good base to visit the excellent RSPB Reserve at Leighton Moss. The site sits high up with excellent views but it is just under a mile from the M6 as the crow flies and there is a background noise level but it is not intrusive. I guess that wind direction might make a difference in this respect.
The site is easily reached from the Motorway from either direction. As a CL it sets an extremely high standard and the owners have made a substantial investment in the site. There are 5 well spaced hard standings with power and water close by.
There are 2 toilets with wash hand basins (cold water only), one modified for disabled use and one room with a wash basin and an electrically heated shower. Chemical disposal, waste and recycling points are all there laid out tidily. Everything was immaculate and very well constructed and maintained. Highly recommended. Had there been hot water to the wash basins and some heating in the facilities I would have scored these 10 but one does not really expect to find these at a small CL.
We had the site to ourselves for a couple of nights. TV reception is excellent as you can see the transmitter across the valley.
