This small farm site is run by a genuine, friendly, helpful middle aged couple on a hill side above Lancaster and the Lune valley with great views.

There's two toilet cubicles and a shower which are spotless and recently built.

Their booking arrangements are really well organized and communication is great.

You'd be best to heed their email advising you to use junction 35 and not 34 if using the M6 due to the narrow road through Halton.

Lovely simple site, super clean toilets and shower, amazing views, was met by the lovely owner on arrival.

Good hard standing on wet February visit.

A perfect spot to visit son at Lancaster uni.

Beautifully cared for site, with lovely, friendly welcome.

Owners could not be nicer or more helpful.

Wonderfully quiet.

Just a one night stay for us but will definitely return.

What a little gem, a basic but clean site and facilities. lovely owners,

But the view OMG the view covers all of Morecombe Bay and in into the lakeland fells outstanding,

The village of Halton inst to far and has a range of shops, we ventured out, the Bay less than 10 minutes drive with supermarkets,

We will definitely be visiting again later in the year

Lovely spacious site with plenty of room between pitches. Great views of Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland mountains directly from the pitch. 16amp electrics and one tap between two pitches.

Two toilets & one shower are basic, but clean, warm & spacious.

Quiet, rural setting, but a bit of road noise from the m6 if the wind is from that direction. On a fairly exposed hillside, so vulnerable to westerly winds, but we were fine despite 40mph winds.

Great area for walks, good pubs & restaurants & easy access to Lancaster if cities are your thing.

Friendly welcome from the owners, but then they leave you alone.

Just right for us.

Works well as a transit site since close to the M6. Access from the Lancaster side might be challenging as the lane is very narrow. Pitches fine but none level.

Facilities okay but pretty basic - shower (1) & loos (2) not especially clean. Owners friendly & welcoming.

Expensive for what it is though (£25/night) & charges the same per night as Scotlands premier site.

Still, it was open & available in winter.

Very nice, quiet and secluded hill top site.

Really liked this small site. There is 1 shower and 2 separate toilets which were very clean. May get a bit busy in peak season but as there were only 2 other caravans on site we had no issues.

There is chemical disposal point, water, and recycling/rubbish bins.

There are no other facilities on site and although I would return I do think £25 a night is a bit high.
