We stayed at this site for one night to break up the journey to Cornwall. It was very close to M5 so easy to get to. The owners were friendly and helpful and the pitch was a good size, although we didn't use the awning so that made a difference. There is a gate from the site to the Bridgwater Canal and you can walk from there to the village. Only downside is that the site doesn't have a shop but that didn't matter for one night andyou can get bread and other basics from reception. The toilets were immaculate and hadfree hot showers. We would definitely stay at Minnows again if we were travelling down South.

We've stayed here twice now in the last 12 months and have found it to be a very well managed and friendly site. The grand western canal offers nice walks and fishing. Just along the canal there is a pub and a local farm shop within 20 minutes walk down the road. This is also a site that is well place for stopping at for a day or two if on a long journey south. Road noise can be heard is the wind is coming from the wrong direction but after a day we didn't notice it as much.

Just one mile from Junction 27 off the M5, really handy for breaking journey when travelling south. A Caravan Club affiliated site up to very high standard with friendly helpful wardens. We fully endorse previous positive comments, very pleasant relaxing venue enjoyed the scenic walk along the canal as well as the pubs. A super carvery @2for £10 was good value, & only a short walk. Tiverton town was interesting with a good selection of shops & a farmers market, also boasted a castle. Would definitely visit again and possibly stay longer than the two days we stayed this yr.

Stayed at this site to break a long journey to Cornwall, being handy just off the m5.
It is typical of many caravan club sites spotless facilities nice size pitches.
A very nice site very peace full with nice walks onto the canal towpath it backs onto. Little farm shop in walking distance for your BBQ needs, or if you don`t want to cook there is a pub 15 min walk in local village.
A nice site gets booked quickly in high season probably like me breaking the journey.

August 2005 Sue and Roy are excellent wardens keeping a very nice, clean and tidy caravan park. The shower blocks were immaculate, you felt very obliged to maintain the standard by cleaning up after yourself. We had our 1 year old son with us and the disabled toilet doubled up as baby changing room with a bath in the changing unit.
The canal walk to The Globe pub was lovely, more like along the river bank with ducks, swans, fields and lilly pads! The Globe staff were very friendly with excellent food, the River Room offering a carvery from 6.15pm, bar meals available 2-5pm and an excellent child's play area for toddlers to.adults! (good ales and wine too!)
We camped in the meadow because we were in a tent that didn't require electric hook-up. The space available was great, we were near to the children's play area and not far at all from the shower block. However we did hear the road noise all night! It was endless. I recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. If you are in a caravan in the main park I can imagine you would hardly be aware that there is a road there.
This would be my only reservation in recommending an otherwise excellent site to any other fellow campers.

October 2004 Stayed here for a couple of nights and will definately be back. Well laid out pitches, many hard standing. Toilets and showers immaculate with soap and paper towels provided. Bright and clean dishwashing area. Laundry room.
Friendly and helpful wardens. Newspapers available pre order. Farm shop and village 5 mins away by car--15 mins walking.2 good pubs in village. Post Office. Town of Tiverton approx 6 miles away with good shopping, farmers market, library etc.
Pleasant towpath walks by canal, fishing and small boat/canoe launching, permits from reception.
Lovely childrens play area.
Just off the A361 and about a mile from Tiverton junction of the M5. Although very near to the A361, we did not have any traffic noise.
