May 2004 Great site for kids and adults, main club house gets a bit busy but 'loopy' rabbit from the new beach club keeps kids amused. Prices are a bit dear in the shop for foods etc but tesco only 10 mins down road. They also re-freeze ya freezer blocks for 50p each, but stick your name on them as they wont guarantee getting your own ones back!! showers for male & female are seperate and has excellent washroom & drying facilities for 50p a go. The only thing I can fault on this site is that they allow dogs on it, but have a strict policy that if any person with a dog is caught not clearing up dog mess, that they will be thrown off site, so fair play to them. Beach is 5 minute walk across road and main town is only approx half hour walk.

May 2004 This is a really pretty site if you are in the back field as there is some nice countryside and the Steam Railway goes past regularly. Swimming pool is heated and a good size. Clubhouse had good entertainment with very good security (kids are not allowed out alone after 8:30pm) Only gripe is the shower block and toilets. They are ancient and really unclean (fact, not just my opinion). I never once saw them clean in the 4 days I stayed there, which is a real shame as it puts a black mark against this site for us. There is a really good beach just down the road and as it only takes an hour to get there for us, we shall go back (washing in the tent and using the swimming pool shower though).

9/8/2003 & 24/10/2003 Brilliant site for the kids (13, 11 & 8), toilets & shower block always clean but a long walk if you are on the back field in summer. Entertainment to a good standard & staff always ready to help. Warning : if you want a later break e.g. october do not use this site as nothing is open in evenings as there was only 4 tents there. The cafe does a brill burger & chips at great rates. See you all here in 2004

Showers OK but could do with updating.
