We visited this lovely site in the rainy half term so were doubtful about how good it would be but were pleasantly surprised and had a great week. The site is easy to find, just off the A27 and feels secure from the start with the barriers at entrance. The pitches separated with hedges make a lovely cosy feel and the non-electric area is large and spacious. We had plenty of space in our pitch for large tent and car and because of the rain, had most of the field to ourselves. Our pitch (no.30) was against the hedge in the corner and just a short walk to the toilets and play area but far enough away to feel private. Toilet and shower block is really big and clean, just what you want when away from home and even had a power point if needed. Showers were hot morning and night and a large cubicle great for families. The kids play area is basic with a climbing frame, 2 swings and a football area but ok and the boys enjoyed scooting around the paths much more and the whole site is linked by concrete paths which makes it ideal. The only downside is the railway line nearby and a bit noisy plus the level crossing is down every 5 minutes making a traffic jam getting into Littlehampton. There are plenty of shops nearby, a huge Tesco, somerfield and sainsburys within 5 mins, a launderette, takeaways and the little shop on site has some basics. Littlehampton beach is lovely and when the sun finally came out at the weekend we had a lovely time on the beach. All in all a lovely campsite, highly recommended!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at White Rose. The site has good spacious level pitches, most of the EHU pitches are hedged, and give lots of privacy. There is a small site shop but there are various shops and takeaways in the immediate area and a large Tesco about 5 minutes drive away. The toilet block was clean, with plenty of basins, toilets, 4 showers for ladies 3 for gents and free hairdryers. The showers were powerful and hot and FREE. (I do hate having to pay for them!) although they are the push button type and don't stay on for long. The shower block was not heated and did tend to steam up if any one was showering. a few of the light bulbs were out whilst we were there making it a little dark at times. The site has a large play area in the centre, with goal posts, volley ball net, climbing frame and swings, my daughters were there for most of the day and made loads of friends. The wardens were sensible in allocating the pitches nearest to the play area to those with children. Cost was £22 per night 2 adults, 2 kids and EHU. 10 minute drive to both Littlehampton Beach and Arundel, both worth a visit. Would stay again if in the area. In my opinion this is a good site, but with a little bit of modernisation could be a great site.

We had two tents so asked for two pitches next to each other and they gave us pitches on a corner which meant we had a huge area that was great. Nice flat, well marked out pitches. Site it's self was everything you would expect, very clean toilets and showers. My kids had their bikes and the proper roads on the site made it great for them to ride around. They also enjoyed the play area which has built up edges to prevent kids running on to the roads. Has a security entry barrier so only booked campers can drive on site and whilst we were there everyone drove considerately. Can't comment on the on site shop as we only used it for freezing the ice blocks as Tesco is only a 5 min drive away so bought supplies there. Will definitely be going there again in the future.

A very structured site, with many pitches segregated by bushes and linked by roadways operated on a one-way system. Large play area which provided a focal point for all the children - cleared at 10pm to ensure peace and quiet. Shower / toilet block is well designed - never a queue but operated on a push-button system which gives SHORT blasts of water (HOT TIP.in the Ladies, opt for 2nd left shower - it stayed on the longest!) Perhaps the only criticism we would have is that maybe it was too structured for our taste, and we felt that it was rather regimented; and whilst the designated plots allowed for good organisation of the site, the aspect from many spots was to overlook each others caravans - so no view!

Last weekend we went along to Littlehampton for our first ever camping trip. We loved it here, very quiet site site, great for the kids. Showers and toilet block very clean (much better than expected). The on-site shop is very small but there is a huge Tesco 5 minutes away and a small corner shop on the other side of the level crossing. If you plan on going to the beach (and you should) suggest you go to "West Beach" rather than the main beach at Littlehampton which is very commercialised and parking expensive, West Beach is on the other side of the estuary and a 10 minute drive from the site. Will definitely go back.

This was our second visit and not much has changed. The site offers good pitches for caravans with secluded pitches available. There is a reasonable play area in the middle of the site and the facilities are good and clean. There is a small shop which sells the basics but in fact you are only 5 minutes walk from the local general store and a few minutes drive from the supermarket. 8/10

I stayed at White Rose this year for the first time. We had a de-luxe pitch, so plenty of room. Only downside we were right opposite the childrens play area and later in the evening it was still quite noisy where the older children were still 'hanging around'. It quietened down by about 10.00pm.
I was disappointed with the small shop as it didn't sell any of the essentials. Also the shower blocks were nice and clean but no temperature control and the water came out really hot so I couldn't shower my daughter who was only 2!!
I would go back if they updated their showers but I would make sure we were not put right opposite the play area.

On looking for a campsite in this area we were recommended the White Rose Touring Park. We had a great pitch, very spacious and flat. Despite heavy rain on the day we arrived, we did not find the pitch to be muddy at all. Some of the pitches are separated by trees, making them very secluded. We were definitely impressed with the layout.
The toilet block was kept clean. The showers could perhaps do with updating but they were warm and they are within large cubicles, giving plenty of room for getting changed. We thought they were quite adequate. One plus is that the toilet block has hairdryers and an electric point.
We found the owners to be helpful and friendly and there is a little shop stocking essentials - including bread.
The one thing that let the site down for us was that there is some road noise, but after the first night we didnt really notice the noise.
The site is in a good location for visiting the area. There is also a fantastic pub/restaurant just a few minutes walk away called The Six Bells, which is definitely worth a visit! Overall, a good site, we would go back if visiting the area again.

We have visited this site two years running. Always very clean, toilet / shower block clean, but very, very cold. Showers have one temperture, ideal for cooking lobster. Pitches get muddy and cones are put out on your pitch to stop you parking there. So you have to walk from main car park at times. When it's warm and the wind is in the right direction, you can get a whiff of the local tip which is only a few hundred yards away. Staff have been friendly, but can be a little abrupt.
My wife is from Littlehampton and we live in Wigan, so going down has always been to visit family as well as holidaying. There has never been any problem with family members visiting us which was a bonus.
To sum up.....Nice site, clean, shower / toilet block needs to come into 21st century.

June 2003 the kids thought this site was HEAVEN it was very clean and tidy and well laid out. hot showers 24hrs which are very spacious and clean. there is a grass tennis / volleyball area a spacious football pitch and a wooden adventure climbing frame.
this site is fairly close to the road and a little noisey at night but not too bad.
very nice staff and reasonably priced there is loads to do in the area and there is a lovelly beach 5 mins down road in car.
all in all id say 9 out of 10 well worth a visit if you have kids.
