Brilliant best holiday ever, I have full blown Tourette Syndrome and struggle being out in public and find it hard work, but the owner of this campsite made our stay so welcoming, great area very beautiful views and the site is situated right on the edge of the beach so we were able to enjoy the fantastic sunsets over the Scottish western isles, both my family and fellow Tourette friends have all enjoyed our stay, very clean site and facilities, and we found that all the local folk were very accepting of Tourette Syndrome which made our stay very enjoyable, will definitely be returning :)

The best site in the area. The toilets and showers were very clean and the pitches have the best views of Eigg, Rum and Skye. There is a laundry room and there are good dish washing facilities. The site is right on the beach which has lovely white sand the water is shallow so it is ideal for children.
It was very family friendly and the children on the site were having a great time. The other campers were all very friendly and the owner was lovely and very helpful.
There was a lovely inclusive atmosphere with fires on the beach at night to which everyone was invited.
It was nice and quiet at night after dark which was perfect when you have children you are trying to get to sleep.
I would recommend this site to anyone.

This was one of our 1st camping trips away and we couldn't have picked a better 1! loved this campsite as it was quiet and had stunning views and sunsets, our pitch was close to the water also.
The facilities were a little dated but really clean and well looked after + there was a fridge freezer for our food and drinks.
There is a pub about a mile up the road if you fancied a nice pint and some food or you can jump in the car and goto mallaig which was a few miles down the road. There is also the Sands of Morar not that far away either.
There is a boatride that takes you to the Isles of Muck and Egg for those who have sea legs and want to kill a few hours away from the pub.
This is one campsite I cant wait to visit again.

Not sure if this lovely place really needs another positive review!
Stayed for three weeks with dogs and adult son.
The location is just about the best place I have ever had a holiday! Very relaxing tranquil site, being able to walk on a fantastic beach within seconds of the caravan was just magic. The views are stunning and sunsets amazing.
The shower facilities are basic, as others have said, however the charming young lady who owns this site keeps everywhere clean and fresh. She never stops working and makes you feel really welcome. The ambience of this site is great.
It is certainly a lovely site for parents with young children, mum and dad can sit outside their unit watching little ones play on the beach.
It is dog heaven!
There are boat trips available from both Arisaig and Mallaig.
If you do want to tour around a bit, the Ardnamurchan Peninsula is easily accessed from here and is well worth doing.
Being a beach site, it can get windy so a tie down kit is probably a must!
Arisaig served our day to day needs but Mallaig was the place to buy lovely fresh fish. I enjoyed a huge dressed crab from the local fish merchant, for the princely sum of £3.
We didn't have enough time to do all we would have liked, can't wait to return!

After a long 6 hour drive through wind rain and halestone, arrived to a relaxed campsite with fantatic views. Started to unwind as soon as we parked up.
Small site, with some hard stands available, but site drains well so don't worry if you can't book one.
Toilets and showers basic but kept very clean.
If you are in a motorhome you might want to take a bike as surrounding area has small shops for supplies but a few miles from site. Had a meal at the Cnoc-na-Faire, which is about 20minute walk away - meal was fantastic.
Weather was mixed while we were there and as it is right on the beach be prepared for some strong winds.
Access to the beach is excellent and lots of people sea canoeing, sailing or fishing
The site is very family friendly.

This was our first visit and will be returning again.
We had a beach side pitch and what a view to wake up to.
Direct access to safe beaches.
The welcome was really friendly from the owner and she showed us to our pitch.
There are some hard pitches. Some of the grass pitches require levelling blocks.
The shower/toilet facilities are ok and are kept clean. All in the price.
There are 2 washing machines 1 dryer and 2 sinks.
Walking, boating, reading, relaxing, fishing, beach, doing nothing. This area has it all.
Arisaig village approx 1 1/2 mile away by car and has a Spar shop, which is well stocked and pub.
Mallaig has a CO-OP.
Train service from Arisaig to Fort William if you don't want to drive.
One of the most relaxed sites I have stayed at.
We had good weather which makes a big difference. There were two fantastic sun sets during our stay.

I have read some of the other reviews and with most of them I concur totally - a wonderful site at a breath-taking location. Sorry but if folk are looking for pristine facilities - go elsewhere - that isn't what this site is about.
But if you are looking for a magical place with amazing sunsets and tranquillity - and astounding views of the islands (and these reasons are why we keep going back)then head up to this site. But not all of you - I would like some regular space for myself.

Excellent location if you want peace and quiet. Some hard standing you will need levelling blocks on the grass pitches, particularly if you want to be next to the shore. As previously stated the facilities are basic but clean. Arisaig is within walking distance about a mile and a half, easiest to walk via the road, in theory there is a path over the headland, we walked it once but it is very rough and the route is not clear on the ground. In Arisaig, Spar shop, Post Office, Cafe Rhu, teas snacks etc. The old Library Restaurant lunches and dinner, local seafood.

We arrived at this site and initially weren't overly sure of it. It seemed to be in the middle nowhere and very sparse on facilities. It didn't help that when we arrived it was a very dull day so didn't bring out the best of the place. We did however change our minds during our 4 day stay.
The site is small but in a beautiful location. The toilets and showers are very basic and could do with an upgrade. Even a second coat of paint would make a difference. There's a washing up room with two sinks, local leaflets for things to do and a fridge that you can use the freezer section to freeze ice blocks and keep food in which is free to use.
Other than the toilets and showers there are no other facilities. There is however an amazing beach and wonderful scenery. The sunsets were absolutely amazing and there was a very peaceful and tranquil feel to the whole place.
You can walk to Arisaig in about 30 minutes or so. We did it with our two dogs but there's not much of a pavement if any. There's just a couple of pubs and the local Spar. It isn't overly well stocked but in Mallaig (about a 15 minute drive from the site), there's a bigger Spar which has a butchers within it and a Post Office. It sells everything you might need, including bags of ice.
The site does have some animals loose. There were chickens wandering about when we were there and a white horse wandered over to within a few meters of our tent. There were also three dogs from a neighbours property that seemed to have the run of the beach and the campsite and anywhere else they fancied. Whilst there were signs about keeping dogs on leads it seemed to be quite relaxed about it but everyone with dogs when we were there were responsible owners.
All in all this is a lovely site in a lovely location. It does have its faults but they didn't detract from our stay.

When we first arrived here the weather was damp and misty but next morning Wow what a beautiful site. The sands were white and the azure coloured sea was sparkling in the sunshine. On a night time the sunsets were a glory to behold a photographers dream. The showers although basic were spotlessly clean and the owner very friendly and helpful. We cant wait to go back to this fabulous site.
