This is a great new site in the centre of Woodhall Spa. The site has been well planned out giving visitors extra large pitches(we always need more space). The shower / toilets blocks are good.I think the disabled wet rooms are extremely easy to use.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional.
A brighter more colourful display of plants would help it feel more homely, but of course the weather conditions since the start have been bad(Snow & Sahara) to allow planting to progress properly
Now the site is up & running, Petwood Caravan Park can look forward to a great future.
We shall make it our first choice in Woodhall Spa
And look forward to many holidays there.

Arrived Friday evening to a very warm and friendly reception. Pitches very large, water pipes right next to pitch, facilities first class. Swimming pool next to site very clean and cheap.
If I had to find a negative point it would be that if at full capacity of 98 pitches four showers may not be sufficient, however showers are clean, very large and we shall be returning quite a few times to this lovely site

We have camped and caravanned at Woodhall for nearly 20 years and normally stay at the Jubilee Park site, but this year we could not get a pitch having left things to the last minute. Luckily we stumbled on the Petwood on the internet - it is in the next field.
The site is very new, pitches are enormous with mains and water at each one. Being Lincolnshire most of the pitches are very very flat. It was the fastest caravan setup we have ever done. Staff were extremely helpful.
The facilities are very clean (and new). There are two ablutions blocks on the site, each of which I think has 4 showers, as well as gents/ladies toilets, chemical disposal facility and launderettes. We will definitely be going back. The Jubilee Park facilities are available for use (our 10 year old used the outdoor pool which was free for him).
For those who do not know Woodhall it is a really pretty town with friendly residents, a great delicatessen some nice bars and some really good restaurants and takeaways. Note that the incredible Golden Dragon Chinese which has always excelled in good food and service has this year sadly seems to have gone down hill. The new owner seems to open and close when he wants. There is a nice Indian a few doors down. Don't forget to check out the Railway for Batemans ales.

Had a wonderful stay at this caravan park. The facilities were among the best and cleanest I have ever used and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Pitches are large and have hook up and water which was very good as we did not have to carry heavy water containers. There is loads to do in the area. Jubilee Park is adjacent which has an open air swimming pool, playground, bowling greens, tennis courts and croquet lawns.
Only a short walk to the village with shops, restaurants and the kinema in the woods. Will definitely go again to this lovely quiet site. Overall this was an excellent visit to the area.

A brand new site, opened only a couple of weeks prior to our stay. Some areas of the site were a little muddy on our arrival, but probably due to wet weather and its 'newness' as the grass had not fully seeded and grown prior to the site opening.
Has the potential of becoming a jewel, Petwood has spacious, well planned pitches - we had the largest grass pitch on the site as we were staying for the whole week! Slightly more expensive than neighbouring sites, but worth the extra for the space and tranquillity!
Facilities superb, hot roomy showers and clean loos plus the reception shop selling essentials. Hook up and water supplies available on every pitch.
Site wardens extremely helpful, and very keen to help when required. We understand the owners have plans to keep livestock on site in the near future - so ideal for young children.
Dog walk on site was adequate for a short essential morning and evening walks.
Very central to Jubilee Park and Woodhall Spa village, Co-Op and Budgens supermarkets stocking everything you need plus a variety of shops. Lots of pubs, restaurants and take-aways too. Plenty of scenic walks in the surrounding area. Gibraltar Point nature reserve, Kinema in the woods and RAF Coningsby and the regular Battle of Britain Memorial flights are a must to visit. Nearby Horncasle village is lovely. All this within a 20 minute drive of Historic Lincoln.
All in all, a lovely site, would definitely recommend and visit again.

We have just returned from a weekend at Petwood. We were in a group ( 3 families) with children ranging 7-15. The site is brand new, only just opened 2 weeks ago, therefore some of the pitches and landscaping needs time to develop. All the facilities were new and everything immaculate and well thought out. The disabled facilities for washing and showering were of a high standard, plus the site is mostly on one level making it very easy to get around.
The owners and workers on the site were very friendly and helpful, and they worked very hard to keep the facilities very clean ( in muddy weather! )The site is laid our in groups of pitches in some parts all with numbered pitches and all seemed to have electricity and own water supply and lighting.
The site had a reception and a small shop stocking some essential items. The site is situated right next to Jubilee Park so within a few minutes walk of the outdoor swimming pool, cricket field and sports field and children's playground, and a short walk to Kinema in the Woods and Woodhall Spa Village Centre. The site has its own dog walking area, which seemed a large field and obviously very popular. We had a great time at this site, good for the children, safe for them to play near by and good for our older children with easy access to the sports facilities nearby. It was good for security with its own gated access, unlike the site next door which seemed to be part of the village green.
It was a very good choice for us. It did seem a tad expensive but it was good quality with each pitch having its own facilities and therefore worth it It will be good to re visit to see how the site develops when the grass pitches and the planting has taken shape. Lets hope they don't exclude tents in future ( as some sites often do, especially the ones wanting to be a bit more exclusive). Well done Petwood we will be making a return visit.
