This was our third visit in as many years.
We bring our grandchildren and each year we give them the choice of places to visit and each year they have decided to return to this site.
We would love to more often if only we had the time.
We love the space and cleanliness of the facilities.
The proximity to local attractions and the beautiful setting.
We also find the friendliness of the staff and visitor making it so enjoyable.

The site was lovely, well kept and friendly staff.
The toilet and shower block were spotless, some of the best we have stayed at.
I don't have any negatives, will definitely be back.

A very nice 4 day stay on Petwood. The pitches are large and usually nice soft grass, but due to the on going drought the grounds are a bit scorched but does not distract from the excellent site.
The staff are very friendly and there is always a good morning or wave. The shower blocks were as clean as always.
The site is the best location for getting into town, 10 minute steady work, and for jubilee park swimming bath (next door) pity it was to busy to get in. It was unbelievably hot.
We have been told there are lovely walks around the area, but we just go to chill, so can't confirm.
Would highly recommend.

We had stayed at this well run campsite before and tried to book it again, but we chose the weekend of the 1940s celebration weekend. We hadn't realised what a very popular occasion this was for Woodhall Spa. So we were unable to stay there this time. Its seems that a booking must be made well in advance of the 1940s weekend. How far in advance we must find out.
It has very nice facilities and is well kept.

Another wonderful stay at Petwood.
For anyone who has not been, the pitches are big with electric and your own tap. The grass is keep to a nice length and it must drain well has we arrived after a couple of days of rain.
The shower blocks are spotless and the staff are friendly, don't know where the negativity has come from on other reviews, we were met with a smile and a pleasant conversation. Everyone we bumped into the groundstaff there was a smile and a good morning how are you.
Definitely will be returning. Only have on 9 on price because I'm a bit tight😉

Such a beautiful site, so clean and quite. Set a little way back from the busier areas of Woodhall and no public traffic.
A lovely little walk to lots of fun things to do with the children.
We will definitely stay again.

What an amazing site this is, we visit, circumstances permitting at regular Times through the season and have done for many years. The site is very well laid out and tended. The facilities exceptionally clean. The wardens really do a superb job are friendly and helpful, and get three cheers from us.
The position of the site is excellent for easy walking to the local shops cafes and pubs. Jubilee Park is next door to the site offering recreational facilities and a cafe. It is again very well maintained
The coast of Mablethorpe, Sutton on Sea and Skegness are on an hours drive away for some sea air.
From the site itself without having to use the car there are many delightful walks and cycling. Another favourite is to cycle from the site along to the water rail trail and beyond.
