What a gem of a site! Easy to get to through Fordingbridge. Dog friendly with 5 hardstandings, facing a different way but good to put your awning out on, overlooking a massive well maintained field with bluebells bordering woodland. A separate entrance/exit gate means you don't always have to go through the garden which get extremely busy at times. The campsite is set at the back of the garden centre and we didn't hear anything from the garden centre or their car park at all. Beautifully quiet and set back from the road, the site has a gate to a dog walk area through woodland. This path also takes you through to Alderholt and on to Ringwood Forest if you have the stamina (7 miles plus, depending on how far you want to go. There are tea rooms called the Sticky Bun and toilets but we didn't use either on this occasion. The owner was very friendly and when we arrived showed us to the site. As our pitch was not booked for the last day, we were allowed a late stay. There is a gazebo to sit under and for you to BBQ if you wish, in the centre of the field. Just a couple of minor things - tree overhanging just outside gate could do with cutting back as it scrapes along the roof of vehicles and it may be good to have a telephone number for contact outside of the garden centre hours (emergencies etc) Will be going back!

Stayed for 3 nights on this delightful site. Had it to ourselves which meant it was amazingly quiet. The staff were all very friendly and very useful having a cafe on site. We walked across the fields from the site and then along lanes to Fordingbridge which took about 35 minutes. There is an half hour bus service to Salisbury one way and Ringwood and Bournemouth the other.
All facilities provided are fine.

Just stayed for a week at this site, we had a great time. The garden centre & site is run by a family business, who take great care to ensure that you have a good stay, nothing too much trouble. The site is very well maintained & kept immaculate. There are no showers (which is made clear before booking) but the toilets are located nearby (about 1 min walk from our pitch)
We had a pitch with hardstanding, electric hook up, which had generous space between them - which represented excellent value for money.
Facilities include waste/chemical disposal, and pleanty of grassed area with seating/bbq area.
Good location for nearby places to visit (Ringwood, Salisbury, Poulton's Park etc. )
Will definitely be returning next year!

Nice basic site with friendly staff. Toilets are part of the Garden Centre, so used by customers and staff as well as campers. There were 2 cubicles in the Female toilets which were both clean.
5 Caravans and 4 tents there when we stayed. Big field and grass was lush but could have done with a mow and there were a lot of wild mushrooms growing which proved interesting for my 15 month old!
Nothing really to do on-site but once my 3 boys made friends with the children in the next tent they were fine. If the site could provide say one tyre swing I think it would make a big difference for children.
There is a BBQ area and 2 picnic tables in the centre of the field which provides some focal point.
Very good value for money, however what we saved on campsite fees we probably spent in the cafe on breakfast which was a little overpriced I think!
Would return again for a couple of nights but in a bigger group to give a bit more atmosphere. Any longer and I think you'd need more facilities such as showers, washing up area etc for people in tents. Caravaners are probably ok.
Would definitely recommend for a nice, quiet, cheap site.

Lovely quiet site, stayed for nearly 3 wks, the owners were very helpful.
You might need levelling blocks.
Gravel hardstandings for caravans with grass in front for your awning.
No play equipment for children, so if you have little ones make sure you are equipped.
Tents were sited on the opposite side of the field.
Whilst we were there most tents only stayed 2/3 nights, probably because there are no showers !
In the middle of the field there is a large gravel area with a pergola for bbq's, although you could use yours next to your van if off the ground.
We had our 2 dogs with us and there is a small walking area just outside the site.
We treated ourselves to breakfast in the garden centre a few times and took the dogs with us.
One afternoon our friends visited ( they stayed nearby ) and the ladies in the garden centre tearooms did us a take away cream tea which we all enjoyed sitting in the sunshine outside our van !
The New Forest is only a short drive away, plenty of places to explore. The coast is approx 30 mins away. Bournemouth has lovely sandy beaches.
Well worth a visit, there are so many places to see and plenty of walks around.
Fordingbridge is a typical small market town with a few shops, Co op, Tesco Express etc.
We went to Verwood for Morrisons and Salisbury for a big Tesco.

This is a great site very quite and a big field for children to kick a ball round with out being any where near other campers and plenty of pitches for tents with lush green grass.
There were only 2 others motorhomes there when we arrived.
Toilets are a hike and a bit dated but very clean
Its hard to beat for price and was very peaceful and relaxing break.

Lovely clean & tidy camp site, Henry & Katie and sons were so friendly and approachable, the garden centre was lovely too, the tea room charming serving full English breakfast, cakes and gifts, we discovered Dorset from this base, we went to corfe, swanage, Sandbanks & loads more.
Henry recommended some pubs in the near town of fordingbridge, were there are shops, takeaways, restaurants, we had a fantastic! meal at the local 'The George Inn', we also one eve' had a lovely Indian meal. We got our supplies at one of the few supermarkets there, it was a tiny pretty town but had it all there that you would need.

A good, small traditional campsite. No frills, but a pretty field next to an excellent Garden Centre with a lovely Tea Room (offering great Full-English breakfasts!). Toilets a bit of a walk, but functional and well kept.
For caravans there's EHUs and a chemical emptying facility. An uncrowded site, with space for kids to play.
Local area, includes Moors Valley and Avon Country Park, both with plenty of 'Nature' and activities for families with younger children (Moors Valley has a Go Ape for the more adventurous). And, of course The New Forest is right nextdoor. Central to Salisbury, Bournemouth and Southampton.

My wife, two daughters and I had a very pleasant stay at this new site that apparently only opened this year. It is located next to a lovely garden centre very close to Fordingbridge. The elderly gentleman and his son who run the site made us very welcome.
They showed us where to set up in a lovely location on a hard standing overlooking a large open area. We had an electric hook up and the water and waste facilities were close at hand but well screened. Due to the location also being in a garden centre there was a small restaurant that we were able to buy a great fried breakfast in the morning, and in the afternoon cream tea. There were also loo facilities that were made available to us which was a great bonus.
Its location is well placed for venturing into the nearby New Forest and also the south coast is only a relatively short drive. Our daughters enjoyed pony riding at nearby stables. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend it to other tourers and campers alike.
