Good location with no hassle parking. Friendly staff.
Noisy generator used to power site.
Needs new toilet.
Over all a good place to chill out for a few days.
Good fishing is available on the lake on site for £10 per day.

I camped at Sopley for 2 nights with my tent.
I stayed in the orchard. I like that they have a water supply tank, makes it easier if you're backpacking not having to carry water with you.
The toilet was clean and decent. Does exactly what a toilet is supposed to do. It was nice and peaceful luckily and not like your usual campsite with kids running around and screaming.
There were a few people with their caravans in the field but there was very little noise. I likes that I could get as close as possible to the real deal of wildcamping.
The price was good £15/night to pitch a tent, which is what most campsites charge.
There is electricity for caravans to connect to but not ideal for the solo traveller to charge a phone or other small gadgets.

Nice site in a field inside the Pick Your Own Farm. Flat area within a small Orchard with drinking water stand pipe available. Lovely site to walk around and although not big, the fishing lake is a pleasant flat stroll.
Although this is marked as an Adult only site, there were loads of unruly and screaming kids from the PYO area, just 50 yds from the pitches in the field. This seems to defeat the object of Adult only area. The toilets were very dirty as they are only sheds, but the CDP was a useful asset to have. Only because of the kids around, I wouldn't come backbut through the week or non holidays I would certainly return.

This is a beautiful peaceful site set on the edge of a large lake. Toilet facilities are primitive but adequate and there are no showers or electricity but the peace and location more than compensate. We did not have any children with us which is good because there are no real facilities for children, this gives a great chance to get back to nature and watch the wildlife and play family games. Very good site for adults.

We have visited this site several times, and enjoy the 'get away from it all' feeling staying here gives us. On arrival you drive through a fruit farm and select a secluded spot to pitch in one of the clearings in the woods located around a big fishing lake.
There is plenty of space for kids to play in the woods, by and on the lake, and they love the sense of freedom this site gives them. Campfires are allowed which adds to the sense of adventure.
Facilities are very basic, it really is a site for the intrepid camper: there is just a water tap, waste disposal and a toilet in a garden shed, but the price is reasonable to make up for this.
