On arrival we were greeted by the Site Owner who explained where all the facilities were situated. We sited the caravan and then went into the Garden Centre shop and paid The groceries and gifts in the shop are very well presented and stocked. All the Staff in the Shop and Garden Centre were very friendly and helpful. There is a small Coffee Corner in the Shop. The Site over looks fields and behind our caravan we spotted a pair of bull finches, plenty of bird life around. It is a good base for touring around the area i. E. Minsmere, Snape Maltings, Woodbridge and Framlingham.
A site that is well worth a visit.

What a lovely cl. Owners were so helpful. The nursery and farm shop were a joy. It was so nice to pop in on arrival be greeted with a smile and enjoy a cup of coffee and coke in farm shop. Our dogs loved it as there is a wildlife walk on site. As we were on our way home we bought some locally grown veg from shop. All in all a very pleasant experience

Just returned from this CL site. A small level site with great views of the countryside. You need your own facilities but there is a chemical emptying point, rubbish & recycling. There is a nursery with lovely plants & a farm shop with all essentials plus a serve yourself coffee & cake area next door. The owners are very friendly & informative. There is a short walk on the river bank & also a circular walk accessed in the nearby village. It is very peaceful& good for relaxing.

Now known as Garnetts Gardens CL
Just returned from a very enjoyable bank holiday break with my brother, our third visit his first, at this Cl. It is located conveniently for the picturesque Suffolk towns of Framlingham, Woodbridge, Aldeburgh and Southwold.
The views from the site, are of rolling countryside and on this visit we saw partridges and heard a barn owl.
Being next to the farm shop and nursery means rations are at hand and it is very easy to take home more than you brought with you (plants etc. ). There is a small coffee corner in the farm shop and the staff and owner are both friendly and helpful.
The owner has cut paths through some of his land creating a pleasant walk.
We will certainly be returning.

Very simple and friendly.
The site has hook ups and basic facilities everything is clean and accessible. The facilities are fully reflected in the price which is extremely competitive
The farm shop is right next door and stocks everything you would need and more so.
The staff are friendly and all have a local area knowledge to point you in the right direction.
The site is fantastically located for the market towns of Woodbridge and Framlingham.
More cycling and walking than you can shake a stick at.
My family will be back for a longer stay next time.

We visited this site on our way back from Hampshire, as we like a site that has hook ups, this site was just what we wanted as many CL sites do not have hookups. On arrival despite being on a main road we found it very quiet and friendly. The farm shop also on site had everything you should need with the added bonus of a small cafe.
For anyone who likes walking or cycling this site is ideal.
Also just a bus or car ride away is the beautiful town of Woodbridge.
We shall be going back.

Our main reason for booking 2 nights stay on this site was for the wildlife and surrounding countryside as stated on their website. Also we got a very friendly and helpful response to our initial phone call. However, upon arriving we felt a bit let down as we had to go and pay in the farm shop itself and did not know if we were talking to a member of staff or one of the owners. We then realised that the small field directly next to the road and the farm shop car park was in fact the campsite. You could only pitch on the left hand side of the very small area as the opposite side was uneven, muddy and overgrown. You only have a small hedgerow separating you from the busy B1116 a few feet behind you, which carries heavy traffic, all night long, as it leads up to the A12. The only facilities were water, bins and a sewage point, but this is reflected in the price of £10 per night so we didn't expect much more.
The part of the river Ore adjoining the site was quite narrow and shallow and the circular walk was partly flooded so you had to turn back. As for there being Otters in the area, according to the owner on our initial phone call he had never seen one in 17 years, but had come across empty muscle shells on the riverbank, and apparently a neighbour had seen one. Maybe there is a Barn Owl in the area, but as it was raining on our visit obviously we would not have seen it. The owner had also told us that he had seen one in the summer when it was nesting in the area. We had paid for 2 nights but left after one, but upon telling the lady in the shop we were given £10 back and she apologised for the noise of the road and stated that it was a busy route onto the A12.
We would recommend the farm shop as it sold almost everything and was large and spacious, nicely set out with a small cafe inside (although we did not try this, so cannot comment).
