 The campsite is situated on the road from Port Grimaud to Grimaud village just before Naides campsite. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach (we cut through the Praires de la Mer campsite). The site has the feel of a very rural site, far from the madding crowed, but within a few minutes walk of the very busy coast road and the bay of St Tropez.
The facilities are spotless, plenty of hot water and clean showers, washing up and even a washing machine. The man who owns it is pleasant, speaks no english and is obviously very proud of his site.
It is quiet and a lovely retreat after a day on the beach. It costs 8 euros per pitch plus 5 euros each, so 18 euros for the 2 of us. This is excellent considering the beach campsites charge almost 40 euros per night. However our friends pitched for a couple of nights with their camper (they arrived 2 days earlier for their booked pitch at Camping a la Plage). They paid an extra 3 euros per night for electricity and 16 euros for their 2 children aged 13 & 15, So for them it was 40 euros per night, not such a bargain!
The site slopes a little but all of the pitches looked to be level. There is also a small office from which you can buy a drink or order croissants for the morning, we didn't use this and the office wasn't always open.
As a couple we would definitely use this site again, it was so relaxing. Highly recommended if you want a bit of peace and quiet in an otherwise very busy part of the med coast.
