Lovely site, very flat field with great facilities.
Small site with some EHUs available.
Lovely walks from the site and along the coastline to the Pandora inn.
Well worth a visit and fab food.

A pretty field. Quiet, large with good outlooks, reasonably protected from the wind. All in all a very pleasant secluded spot to camp for a week. Lots of space for big tents and kids to play.
The small toilet block is cleaned daily and is nicely fitted, clean and functional. Only one loo, shower and basin each for ladies and another for gents and one sink. Everyone seems to muck along, but occasionally there is a queue on busy weekends.
£7 for a night for a tent and 2 adults plus £1 per shower.
Extras. See Tariff on website
Asked them to leave a sqeegee for the shower/loo.
They need to secure the shower mount bracket so it works.
They will need to add another simple shower block or limit the number of people on site at one time to about 15 units.

Lovely, peaceful site, quite flat with electric hook-up for four. New toilet block perfectly adequate for a quiet time of year, but would be a bit of a queue in peak season.
Took us twenty mins to walk down into Mylor, thirty to come back as all up hill! Lots of local produce in good variety of shops. Also walked the footpath to The Pandora Inn, took about half an hour. Good pub food. No campsite shop so have to make sure you bring all you need, which is no problem and the tranquility of the place more than makes up for it. Highly recommend it and will be back ourselves.

As the previous reviewer commented it is a lovely quiet site. The facilities were basic, at the start of our week they were adequate but by the end of the half-term as more campers arrived we did find ourselves queuing for the one toilet and basin.
I would also advise bringing your own toilet roll as the two rolls provided daily quickly ran out. One other thing to bear in mind is that there are no facilities for freezing ice blocks so you will need to shop daily.
If you want to leave the car then a walk to the village(along the lane) took us about 20-30 mins with a five year old constantly stopping to look at things along the way.
Make sure you try the pasties from the local butcher, the pork and leek sausages were amazing too. There are adequate shops in the village but if you want a supermarket there is a large ASDA just outside Penryn, 15 mins away by car.
If you are after a quiet, basic site at a great price then I would recommend a visit to this site.

Lovely quiet campsite. I think they were a bit surprised that this year was so popular as it is a very low key family site. Beautiful flat field next to the chickens (if you don't mind the cockerel crowing each morning. The shower and toilet are basic but functional, there is no electric hook ups and is proper family basic camping. It is ideally situated for Helford River and Mylor and perfect for our kayaking weekend. Lovely walk down to the Pandora Inn - which is expensive but fabulous.
The family are very welcoming and leave you in peace and quiet. Ideal for tents or caravans.
