An ACSI site. €18 with electricity. Free wifi. Baker calls each morning. Market day Thursday. Reception closed 12. 30 to 2. 30. A gateway at back of site leads to a sheltered 10 minute walk to town which was heaving on Mayday when we were there.
Facilities were quite adequate and most pitches wee hedged.

Stayed for a 2-night stopover but would gladly return for longer in future. The site was not full in late August. We had booked ahead and on arrival we were offered the chance to choose from a variety of shaded/ part-shaded pitches. Toilet/ shower blocks were cleaned more than once a day, no charge for showers. Site had lots of extras which made for a pleasant stay for the children, especially the plentiful games equipment for free use (10E deposit) ie badminton sets, volleyballs, board games etc; also the mini-golf area, play area, volleyball court, tabletennis tables and leisure room in case of wet weather. Having said that, the play equipment/ areas did not dominate and people wishing to avoid children could do so easily. Small fridges were available to hire for a small daily charge. Staff at reception were very helpful and spoke English if required.
Nearby Obernai was picturesque and had local Alsace folkdancing and other events on some evenings through the summer months, and which coincided with our stay - lovely. Easy to walk into town either along road or down the country path running behind the site.
I would agree with previous reviewers - all in all a very nice site and great value for money given everything it has on offer.

Very pleasant campsite. Plenty of hardstandings for motorhomes and a good motorhome service point which can be used for a fee by people not camping on the site. Plenty of hookups and water point. Bread depot in reception which is staffed by pleasant English speaking people. Shower and toilet blocks clean with plenty of hot water, toilet paper and soap at wash hand basin. Approximately 1 mile flattish level walk into a lovely old town.

We visited this site inlate August early September. Freindly staff who speak english.
The pitches are of a reasonable size, but close together. Some part sloping and gravel.
Twin axle vans would be tight on some pitches. Those on the perimeter do not have hookups, the rest have taps and drain points. 16A electricity.
There are two modern clean shower blocks, one has a covered area and library with fridges to rent, ideal for tenters!
Obernai is 10 minutes walk away, a charming town with lots of shops and restaurants. There is a large Leclerc supermarket with fuel station on the road to Molshiem.
You can order bread at reception, a chicken an visits twice a week (lovely good priced chicken to take away!) and a pizza van on other 2 nights.
A park adjoins the site, with walks into town along the r iver, good for dog owners. Access via a turnstile in the corner of the site.
It is a short drive to Strasbourg where I can recommend the Park and ride system.
Leave your car in the secure park.
The ticket gives you a return for upto 7 on the tram to the city. Frequent clean and smooth trams. On return put the ticket in the machine and pay €4. 10!
A lovely are of France and Germany very close.
The route des vins Alsace is a nice drive.
Well worth a visit.
We are happy to recommend the site.
Ther is wifi on the site, just ask at reception, they give you a password etc, free!

Pitches separated by hedges. Good showers with hot water, separate cubicles with hand basins. Clean facilities.
Bread can be ordered for morning, small shop sells local wine. Supermarket around 10 minutes walk away. Takeaway van twice a week selling roast chicken, chips or potatoes, salad, drinks.
Tables and chairs under an awning useful for tent campers. Fridges available for hire.
Some road noise but otherwise a quiet site.

We had the pleasure of staying on this delightful site for five nights in early September. We weren't quite sure what to expect but we were not disappointed.
We had a fully serviced pitch. The sanitary blocks were always clean with plenty of hot water. Reception was good and the staff very helpful.
Only a small shop at reception and bread can be ordered on a daily basis but as the site is just a short walk - about fifteen minutes into the town of Obernai, stocking up on necessary provisions is not a problem.
The town is lovely, extremely pretty and clean and the surrounding area dotted with medieval villages is a sheer delight.

I'm surprised that I'm the first to comment on this site as it is well worth the visit. It's close to the motorway and easy to locate, reception more than helpful and the pitches are spacious. The toilet and showers are very clean and plenty of hot water at all times. You can either take the river walk from the rear of the site into the centre of Obernai or take the main road, either way it will only take you ten minutes. Plenty of shops, bars and 2 supermarkets. For people with children there is an aquadome centre about 10 mins drive away with full and varied swimming. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Oh and the customary breadman calls every morning. If you are in the area stop off you won't be disappointed.
