We stayed here for two nights
Bill was great and helpful.
Nice quiet spotless site.
Ideal for visiting southport.
Will visit again.
The only downside was the windy weather and no shower block
Lovely site for a quiet peaceful break.
The farm has geese chickens and goats.
And wonderful farmland surroundings
Fabulous never ending views of the estuary. Reaching the site was stress free even though it is down a single track rd. We recommend this site.

A fantastic little site overlooking the Marshes and river estuary.
Several Hard standing pitches. Chemical waste. Drinking water tap. Shower & Toilet Block. A Nice quiet place for a break.
The owner Mr Johnson will help you onto your pitch with his little Tractor fitted with a front tow Ball.
A very helpful Gentleman.
There is a pub in the village about a mile away and shops.
If we are that way again we will have another stay there.

Just spent a relaxing week at Marshfield Farm, we were greeted with a warm smile and were sited on the field by the owner, Bill, who pulled our caravan onto site with his tractor. He then showed us the immaculate facilities and told us to ask if we wanted to know anything, nothing was too much trouble. We saw spectacular sunsets and enjoyed walking on the adjacent embankment. We saw the resident barn owl and a number of partridge. The Village Inn at Tarleton was recommended to us for a meal and did not dissapoint. There are buses to Preston and Southport near but shopping at Booths at Hesketh Bank is only few minutes in the car. We will definitely return to this site.

A fantastic 5 van site. Very clean and tidy with a wealth of information for sight seeing available. Bill and Shirley are perfect hosts checking every day that you are ok and offering to help site van when you arrive which I think is a lovely touch. There are 2 very clean toilets and no shower but this is a 5 van site not your big commercial holiday site. Miles of traffic free walks in the area and perfect for visiting Liverpool and Blackpool both about 45 minutes away. Southport has all the usual supermarkets about 10 minutes drive away and free range eggs are available on site Formby point National Trust beach is fantastic to explore although there are closer beaches to the site. Don't forget your camera and binoculars as the bird life is stunning. This site is high on the list of MUST return to.

This was our second visit to this lovely site. Bill and Shirley couldn't do enough for us and were helpful and friendly throughout our week long stay (our second in as many months!)
There is plenty of space for children to play and an immaculate toilet block with plenty of information on local amenities together with books, CDs, DVDs and jigsaws for a rainy day.
The facilities were easy to find and the camp was kept to a very high standard despite Bill and Shirley running the site by themselves as well as running a farm and a storage business.
There is a lovely dog walk and the site is only 10-15 minutes drive into Southport. We will definitely be returning to this site regularly each year and would highly recommend it.

Excellent caravan club certified location, maximum of five vans
Very tidy site,clean toilets,no showers.
Large area in front of the vans for the kids to play.Although no playground.
You could walk your dog for miles along the embankment.
Small shop in banks about 2miles away.
15 minutes to southport, funfair, arcades, lot`s of speciality shops.
If it`s a site that`s quiet and relaxing you want, then this is the place for you.
Owners, very pleasant and helpful, already going back in july.

A great little site.
Every facility that you would expect from a CL, very level pitches, clean toilet facilities and a very friendly welcome.
Bill and Shirley put themselves out to make sure you have a pleasant stay. There is a small library of information about the local area, restaurants, transport and local attractions. Fresh eggs are available.
We were up on a birding weekend and were not disappointed, we even had a resident barn owl.
Judging by the number of vans on site when we arrived, this is a popular little site.
Definitely recommend it.

A lovely little site
Really friendly owners, Bill and Shirley. They couldn't do enough to make sure you were happy.
Arriving in the dark, they helped us pitch the caravan, and saved us a hardstanding pitch, which was lovely and secluded, facing their little vegetable patch.
They had an immaculate WC, with an information point, with lots of booklets etc for walks/attractions etc. They also sold free range eggs for only £1 for 1/2 dozen, well worth a buy.
They had a few sheep and chickens around the farm, which you could visit, and lots of walks.
Only the basic facilities otherwise, recycling, water, waste etc.
Pets were allowed, but obviously with this being a farm, must be kept on a load.
Overall a lovely site and for £9.50 a night, a lovely haven away from busy Southport.
