 Great small site close to bus routes, shops, pubs and to Southend.
Great views looking over fields and woods.
No facilities other than EHU. Easy access.

Lovely site, great views, close to town but in a quiet rural setting close to parkland, great for walking the dog.
No toilets/showers but as we have our own that's no problem.
Friendly and helpful warden.

Nothing to dislike about this site.
Small & tidy, really welcoming owner Bryan.
Feels like being in the middle of the countryside despite being just minutes from Rayleigh, Basildon, Southend etc by car, bus or bike.

The camp site is very quiet and peaceful with amazing views of the rolling hills countryside. Everything you need to hand, electric, water and an easy access toilet waste drain. Gated field which gives extra security.
Well kept grassed areas and a lovely couple who own the site.
This was our first time with a motorhome and campsites like Flemings Farm make the experience even more enjoyable.

This is a wonderfully quiet site with fantastic views, yet buses into the town are just a few minutes walk away.
The site is situated on the edge of the urban area down a single track road where you are suddenly confronted by being in the country.
You will need your own facilities in the caravan as there are none on site
The owner and his wife are lovely people and nothing is too trouble for them.
Pitch fees are low and I fully recommend that you visit this caravan site

Surprised to find such a lovely site, the surrounding views are breathtaking. Site well maintained, as warden there constantly at all times of day, which can be a bit off putting and noisy unfortunately. Other than that it's an ideal site. No toilet or shower block etc as on CL site. Site was extremely water logged due to excessive rain, probably why warden was so prominent. Lovely walks in country parks nearby. Local shops 10 minute walk away. Local pubs, cafes nearby too. Would definitely return, but not in winter, as difficult to get motor off site

Dodgem's review of Jul 14 below contains all the relevant details which remain current, so to avoid repetition, this is by way of confirmation of what a nice situation Flemings Farm CL occupies, and add the following additional notes:
Zero road traffic noise but you will experience some aircraft noise if Southend is using the easterly runway.
Dogs accepted (no charge): site owners are very firm about dogs being on leads at all times. But only about 150m down the lane is an entrance to Edwards Hall Park / Cherry Orchard Country Park which is a superb area for you and your dog to enjoy.
To sum up: a very pleasant & comfortable CL where it it difficult to remember that you are only a couple of miles from the sea front.

Very quiet and peaceful site with very helpful site manager who gave us directions to all shops buses and places of interest. Will visit this site again. Easily accessible electric point. Water and waste disposal. Site overlooks open countryside and green park area. The local bus stop stop is only two minutes walk away and the supermarket about 8 minutes away. The site is situated behind residential homes and is their fore quiet.
