Located at Kings Cross between Lamlash and Whiting Bay right across from the Holy Isle. Very nice, peaceful site looking onto aforementioned Isle.
Hard standing pitches are the width of a unit with awnings onto grass beside it. The grass parts are somewhat sunken compared to the hard standing which can create a bit of a problem during heavy rain, though it drains fairly quickly.
Power and drinking water are conveniently placed, though the chemical point is down at the end of the site in a small grotto in the trees. There is no running water, so you carry your own down with you - a gallon container of water is ideal for rinsing - works well.
Site is unlit at night which for me was ideal as I got to see the run up to the Pleides meteor shower.
Best pitch for a view from the caravan is the first pitch to your immediate left as you drive onto the site - good view across the bay to Lamlash.
Enjoyed our stay.

An excellent site with views of sea and hills.
Essential facilities are present.
The location is convenient to the Ardrossan ferry and allows tours of the island.

Superb ovation with great views.
The hard standing ovations were superb well maintained, level and spacious. The hook up was convenient for each pitch. Chemical waste disposal and fresh water tap were again conveniently located.
Could not fault the site. Brilliant.

A lovely little site with probably the best views on the island, easy to find, just off the main road and easy access. Try to get the furthest away pitch which will give the best views.
I had paid by bank transfer in advance as requested; shortly after we arrived the owner appeared and asked what we were doing there; she hadn't written us down in her book! strange but never mind.
There are walks down through the woods and you can reach the sea with some effort, OH did and saw a family of otters. There is aa easier walk (get there by car unless you want to walk 2 miles along the road) from Kings Cross point around towards Whiting Bay, nice beach here.
Unfortunately we were rather disappointed with Arran in general, especially the coast up to Lochranza; there are some better areas and beaches in the south of the island.
Go to the CO OP in Brodick for supplies, the big blue one, not the little green one. There is also a garage near the ferry, smaller CO OP in Lamlash, 2 garages in Whiting Bay.
There are no longer any loos or showers on the site which cost £15 per night, perfectly acceptable.

A smashing basic little C/L with 5 pitches. Ideally located for exploring the Island.
The site manager, Toby, was very helpful. He ensured that all was o. K. When we arrived.
As a previous reviewer noted, the shower / loo is basic. However, the water is hot and the facility is cleaned daily.
The slight downside is that pitches can be very soft after heavy rain. This makes it difficult to extract a heavy motorhome on a 'mildly moist morning'.

We came across this one by chance after arriving on the ferry at Brodrick. The site is high on the hill and overlooks the sea. Lovely views, grass well cut and very friendly warden.
The facilities are not great. A small room that contains a shower, toilet, washing machine and drier. No door on the toilet, the shower has a curtain, again no door. You can look the door to the complete room - but difficult when others using the driers etc.
The shower itself was good £1 and didn't run out after a good long hot shower. The sink in the shower room is literally hanging off the wall - by about 5 inches. Really needs some care and attention in the facilities as they really are dated and fairly dangerous.
We paid £10 for 2 adults and the camper with electric hookup - a good little site if you don't want to use the facilities.
