 I can only say. What a find. On a raised bank off of Schluchsee, the site gives fine views over the lake. But easy access to the lake and follow the path into town. It is a good 30min walk but on flat ground. The town itself has a couple of supermarkets and a few cafes/restaurants but pretty quiet.
The campsite is reasonably compact and the pitches for caravans/motorhomes is a kind of gravel, so remember to bring rock pegs. The tents are on grass but no sure if they have EHU. The toilet facilities are probably the best I've ever seen, with underfloor heating in the showers. Everywhere was immaculate although I never saw a cleaner.
We found the site to be quiet with very little local train noise.
The wardens were helpful but had limited English, so appeared not so friendly. Loads of local information in the reception but only in German! If you stay 2nites or more you get a free pass, which allows travel on the trains/buses/cable cars as well as loads of other attractions. Do your homework before you arrive to get the most from this card, as it is brilliant.
Easy towing into and out of site.
Customer service only 7/10 only because all the literature was in German
I will definitely try to return to this site.
