Excellent little site with smallish plots on grass - some division by hedges; rather a complicated layout but a map helps to navigate! Largely French campers with some statics. Three toilet blocks with a complex mixture of facilities: urinals, Turkish toilets and the occasio0nal conventional wc! No official gender division but some parts seem to be used mainly by men, some by women. Water always hot and facilities always clean - and there was always toilet paper, on the outside of the cubicles. Has a swimming pool and children's play area. Bar with limited drinks and ice creams (bread on order in the mornings). Some entertainments - mini-discos for children, concerts by good French singers, and the like - not going on too late late and not too noisy. Generally quiet and peaceful
Our only bad observations for the site were the number of dogs and the way their owners allowed them to mess anywhere.
Digne is a nice enough town, about half an hour's walk from the camp but with plenty of parking. As well as restaurants &c, there is an interesting museum (a motley mix of natural history, local biography and 19C painting) and botanical garden - most of the sites are central but there is also a 'Promenade' museum of Geology on the northern outskirts with walks through cascades and a buterfly area, and a great little museum. Another reason for visiting is that it is the start of a railway line to Nice going through some tremendous scenery - three and a half hour journey each way but well worth it!

Reviewers- mature couple with campervan and bikes.
I made a note of this site as someone mentioned it on the forum, and as we expected to be passing, decided to give it a try.
The site wasn't too difficult to find, but was a bit further beyond the town than we prefer, and up a hill too. I got a bit cross at reception, as a frenchman had just arrived and was having a laugh and a joke with the staff ladies and the next client, this went on for about 10 minutes whilst we had to wait outside. We were given a map and told to choose our own pitch.
The site itself is on a slight slope, but the pitches are mostly pretty flat and grassy. Because the site is situated in a valley, there is lots of shade, but the sun disappears early and rises later.
The receptionist pointed out a number of toilet blocks on the map, but on investigation, the ones by the pool were locked, the others were all unisex, and not many toilets or showers either. Luckily the site wasn't too busy when we were there. There were sinks with hot water for washing up. The cafe was closed when we were there, and the outdoor pool didn't tempt us, or anyone else that day.
It took us about 10 minutes to cycle into town, a bit longer coming back up the hill. The town has some shops, restaurants, and an old area with a cathedral. Just down from the campsite towards town is a new-looking supermarket with petrol, so we shopped and tanked up before we left, very useful as Digne is the largest place on quite a mountainous route.
The town is popular for cycling, walking, and the spa.
As the price was not overly expensive we would use this site again, if we were passing.
