 Homeleigh farm is a very friendly, family run site. We stayed recently and the owner could not do enough to help. The location is perfect for Wadegridge, Bodmin and Newquay. As well as the Cornish North coast.
Would highly recommend.

Have just returned from this site and we found the field to be very pleasant. The pitches (5) are indeed enormous and you have a feeling of a lot of space. The 'play area' though consisted of just 1 old swing and we felt that this could be improved. The facilities were not brilliant, the shower and toilet were in together and not separate which could lead to queues in the high season, also not as inviting and clean as I would like. The showers were 50p which you popped into the honesty pig. All in all the site is very quiet and children are able to play safely. The village is quite pretty but we found the pub quite expensive and really geared more for food and diners than just someone popping in for a drink, indeed they had to find us a table which wasn't laid ready for a meal ! The area is lovely with loads of places to visit. We visit the area quite a lot and will be going back again in the future, but unfortunately we will not be returning to this site.

An immaculately kept CL with acres of space. Just spent the week here with 3 kids and no-one wanted to go home! Great owners, great location and a very reasonable cost considering you are 15 minutes away from Polzeath beach with it's rolling waves. A couple of days were fully spent on the site as the kids made friends there and loved playing in the garden maze and riding their bikes around in the fields. The wife and I were happy to do that as it's such a peaceful relaxing place and the kids were safe, on a big site we would constantly be worried about them being too close to other campers but not here.
There was sometimes a small wait for the shower but nothing you wouldn't expect, I've waited longer on big sites at peak times. Showers are charged at 50p and they have a 'honesty pig' to pop the money in. There is also 2 washing machines and 2 dryers available at a reasonable cost which was great as we came home with no washing to do!
There is a separate small indoor pool and soft play barn 5 minutes walk away which we didn't use because the weather was so good all week but we did have a nice pint in the local pub which is only 2 minutes away.
All in all the site was far better than we had dare hope and we will be returning next summer for 2 weeks.

A quiet, picturesque and very spacious site, with 5 caravans in the same area that a club site generally has twenty.
A grassy field of over an acre with high hedges: a bit of a slope so levelling blocks are required.
A single shower and WC shared with tent campers in the adjacent fields means that there can be queues at peak times.
Very efficient booking by e-mail.
Within walking distance of pub, Post Office and general store.
