Superb little site. Fantastic views of the Humber bridge. The owner very polite and helpful. The only thing I would say is the outdoor toilet needs updating, but apart from that I would definitely stay here again.

Agree with Misselaineous that this is a great little site.
Lovely views of the Humber Bridge, the Humber & surrounding area.
Great walks along the Humber and over the bridge.
It is a good idea to park under the bridge if you want to walk over the bridge. Park under the bridge and walk up the east or west side onto the bridge. Otherwise you will walk miles & miles just to get to the bridge.
Lidl, Tesco & Co-op in village. Plenty of Pubs, chippys etc. Salvation Army Charity shop does a nice cuppa and a Baked spud for a couple of quid.
Some traffic noise but it didn't bother us.
Perfect area for cycling. Very bike friendly area.
Cycle lanes everywhere and cycle & walking paths along the river.
Hull over the bridge, Cleethorpes & Grimsby 15 or 20 miles up the coast.
For birders & nature lover Spern Head 20 miles away.
At £9 a night this is a little Gem. Charge of £1 a night for awning

I have been using this certificated site for a few years both in the campervan and tent, and always receive a warm welcome from the owners, at the same time, they are not intrusive and allow you to get on with your holiday. It is handy for exploring the Humber Bridge area, both sides of the bank.
The hardstanding for motorhomes and caravans is just one area (like a small car-park) not separate pitches, so awnings can only be used if you pitch on the edge of this, but there is also a well-kept grass area to the side of this for any unit.
Electric hook-up is available for use on hard standing or grass pitches. It is a basic site with EHU, water, chemical disposal and rubbish disposal and recycling.
There is a chemical bucket and chuck it type toilet in a strange little cubicle but not sure if this is for the campers or not. It's never been mentioned when the owners point out the facilities.
There can be some traffic noise as there is a side road down to a small industrial estate, but it is quiet enough during the night.
There is a great view over the River Humber and the Bridge looks lovely lit up at night. There is a cycle path down the hill into Barton where you will find pubs and shops including a Tesco.
An ideal location for cycling or walking on the River Bank or round the lakes where there is an information centre and nature reserve. If you are feeling really energetic, the Viking Way starts on the South Bank of the Humber and runs 147 miles to Oakham in Rutland.
You can cycle across the Humber Bridge, without paying the toll, and visit the Humber Bridge Country Park, known locally as Little Swiss due to the the lovely slopes. This really is a hidden gem.
During a longer stay, you may find time to cross the bridge by car, and visit The Deep aquarium in Hull.
