A convenient overnight stop if travelling on the E40 as we were but wouldn't recommend for longer unless you happen to like fishing. The site seemed run down with old vehicles and caravans dumped around and all sorts of out buildings packed to the rafters with junk, or so it seemed. It looked very untidy. The entrance was confusing - the building marked as reception was just a shell and boarded up so I had to wander through the site to find an office in the centre, also very untidy.
The owner was very helpful with reasonable English and found us a 'hard standing' as it was wet. This consisted of metal strips which my hubby used in dessert conditions in the Army!
There are two fishing lakes which were very murky with dozens of geese and some ducks. Consequently, there was poo everywhere, although it initially looked attractive. You could walk out of the back of the site into fields - handy for dog walking.
The toilet blocks looked new BUT the ladies had glass windows looking out on to a nice children's play area and a further glass door leading to the washing up room, so there was little privacy apart from being inside a cubicle. There was no toilet paper, no basin or soap to wash your hands (unless you went into one of the 3 closets with basins but still no soap) and the gents didn't have urinals.
For very little in the way of facilities, we paid €35. 80 for a small motorhome, two adults and dog. We had just been staying in Germany and got far more for far less. We won't be using this site again.

This is a good spot for a short stay while travelling through Belgium. It is easily accessible from both the A4 Jct 8 or A3 Jct 23 in the village of Hamme Mille.
The touring pitches around the lake are very pleasant, once you have navigated the rather tight access for large outfits. You can fish direct from your tent/caravan! There is a resident goose population which leads to a bit of a problem watching where you step, particularly at night.
The toilet block is new, with excellent facilities but you have to buy tickets for the showers on an ‘honesty’ system. The owners speak excellent English and are very friendly and helpful.
There is free WIFI in the reception area – ask for the access key.
At the beginning of July there was an airshow at the airfield about 5km away. You can walk/cycle a few km and watch all the aerial displays for free, but entrance fees to the full show are very reasonable. It makes for a very noisy but spectacular couple of days!
