 Lovely site by the river, in the small town of Reidorf. There are a few shops I. Town and a good bar/restaurant on site. Nearby Diekirch is a busier town with supermarkets to.
Handy base for canoeing on the river and visiting Little Switzerland, Echternach and Larochette.
Very friendly owner. Good facilities and good value. I

A riverside site within the village, but very quiet. There are two camping areas, one over a little bridge, which is quite far from the toilet block. Owners speak excellent English. Some pitches require a very long power cable, but the website helpfully tells you what length you need for each pitch. Toilets/washrooms very good – showers cost 1. 10 euros for 4 minutes. Nearest supermarket is in Reisdorf, about 9km away, and there is a small grocer/baker across the road from the site. We don’t however recommend the bread! There is a dedicated level cycle track to Diekirch, which we used to visit the fascinating and moving war museum, largely relating the events of the last few months of the second world war and the Battle of the Bulge. There are excellent walks in the area and well-waymarked paths which take you into some unexpectedly amazing scenery, some of it reminding us of scenes from Avatar.
