This site is ideally located for exploring the Chateau of the Loire valley via car or bike.
There are lots of easy cycling trails in the area and they're great for getting about via forest tracks or traffic free roads.
You can easily visit nearby Blois too.
The site is, as with all Huttopia sites, very well maintained, well run and the staff are very friendly. You can order croissants, bread etc at reception for the next day and they have to be the nicest we've ever had in many trips to France.
There is a little coffee shop/bar at reception that is a nice space to sit and relax or check your emails.
The site facilities are very good and are impeccably clean.

Stayed for 3 nights on Recommendation.
Lovely site, very friendly greeting at reception. Only one of the toilet blocks open but that as new and beautifully kitted out.
The site was fairly quiet so we had a choice of pitches.
A very short walk into Bracieux, a lovely little town with some great restaurants. Cycle path all the way to the lovely Chambord Chateaux.

We were looking for a site which had a heated shower block in April and found this one. This is a large site with a small indoor heated pool and children's play area.
Showers and toilets are shared male/female and were ok, although there weren't that many people staying there.
Overall, site was in an unkempt state - grass not cut, lots of weed, rutted roads. Expensive too.
Restaurant not open, bar closed at 7pm.
Close to town for bars/cafes. Good creperie in town square.
Close to chateaux.

Sometimes tricky to find French campsites open in April so was delighted to happen upon Indigo.
Indigo was a wee bit out of the way, but actually a great base.
The local village had little to offer.
The campsite had few campers, so it was great to chill in the quiet of the afternoon sun.
Toilets and showers were spotless. Toilets had loo roll, too. Only glitch was no sockets for hairdryers.
Even in early season the pool was open 1000-1900 (wish it had been open a tad later and we'd have popped in).
There as a cafe / bar, which we didn't use - but looked very tidy.
Bread could be ordered for the following morning.
There was an artisan chocolate factory / shop / cafe next door, where we enjoyed sampling chocolate from around the world.
Chambord and Cheverny Chateaux are close-by, too.
Would stay again.

Lovely site on the edge of Bracieux, a pleasant town with decent facilities (couple of small but useful grocery shops). There are other supermarkets not too far away, particularly on the way to Blois.
The site itself has good facilities, toilet blocks are modern and clean and there is a lovely cafe/restaurant with a lounge area for bad weather (it was freezing when we were there so great to sit on the sofa by the log burner while the kids played with french toys!). Nice little outdoor playground, too. There seemed to be a pool next to the site, but it wasn't open when we were there as it was very early in the season.

This is a large site on the edge of the town of Bracieux with lots of facilities on site or nearby. Pitches are mostly level and shady, though there may be more pitches than electric points in some sections. There are several modern toilet blocks with excellent facilities, but at the end of season cleaning may not be as frequent as at other times. Again it may be only a feature of end of season, but in September reception was closed 12.30 - 14.30. As access is key-pad controlled we had to wait - passing the time by spending a lot of money in the excellent chocolate shop next door! There are lots of walking and biking (bike hire in Bracieux) opportunities in the surrounding forests - get a map from the tourist office next to the site. The big attractions round here are the chateaux - especially Chambord and Cheverny. Each very different but both worth a visit. Another 'must do' is the sound and light spectacular at Chanbord - the effects are truly staggering!
