We really enjoyed our stay, children enjoyed the freedom to ride their bikes in circles around the road.
Toilet facilities lovely, but £1 charge for hot water in shower which was a pain as we don't tend to have change available. It worked out easier to shower in the caravan in the end sadly.
The little trains on site were fun and the location was ideal for Snowdonia and Anglesey.
There were definitely more than the 5 vans on site some nights and some pitches seemed very close together, although ours was lovely, tucked in a corner.
Carlos, the owner, was very friendly and helpful both before and during our stay.

This is for us a near perfect site on the edge of the National Park with so much to do and see within a few miles.
On a 10 acres property, 4 pitches down in a glade like area a further 4 pitches nearer the entrance with lovely views.
Two lakes, several footpaths, a barn area, benches and tables dotted around. There are 2 toilets brand new and immaculate (often out of a loo roll). The shower block is being built this year.
The site has a narrow gauge train that runs around the perimeter certain days - looks an awesome set up but wasn't running when we stayed.
Beautiful gardens and well kept hardstanding pitches with electric.
It's a 10 minute walk on a footpath through site/ public footpath into Bethesda. Small tesco, cafe, garage and a few shops.
Five mins walk up to the Slate Trail, an old railway line. A further 10 minutes to Zip World- worth a visit whether you fly the lines or not. Great cafe / restaurant to watch everything from.
At £25 per night including electricity its certainly a very fair price for the area.
There is lots of improvement work going on but that didn't impact us at all.
We will stay again and highly recommend this site.

Lovely secluded site off the main road. Very intimate and ideal location for anyone wanting to visit Zipworld (5 minutes walk).
No facilities for campers but so much potential for the future
Carlo and family very welcoming.

Stunning location and a beautifully maintained campsite. It has loads of great features including mature gardens, a lake and even a miniature railway.
The new owners are really lovely people - so helpful and friendly. They’ve just taken over the site and are making huge improvements.
Great location for visiting Snowdonia and easy access to all kinds of activities.
It’s very close to Zip World but also lots of mountain walks and biking routes.

A lovely peaceful site. We used one of the hard-standing pitches for motorhomes as the ground is a bit wet in places. There is a toilet which is clean and waste points.
Walking around the small lake and gardens in an evening is lovely, we enjoyed watching the bats flitting around and hearing the owls, as well as watching the ducks.
It is a 10 minute walk in to Bethesda along footpaths. We cycled up and down the Ogwen valley on the cycle route, which is hard work but beautiful.
A friendly welcome too.

Spent a night at this certificated site. It's within easy walking distance of Bethedsa, a mining village with many shops and a few pubs, as well as a decent swimming pool.
The local scenery is excellent - the slate workings are worth exploration and the country park itself, in which the site is situated, has a few nice trails, as well as a small tourist railway.
It's a site with no toilet and shower facilities, but there are electric points and waste disposal facility.
Overall, a good site as a base for walks in the area.
