A real nice site, pity about the paranoid owner. This is not a site for children, should be adult only. Our kids were playing around our unit when he complained about the noise. As a member of the club for nearly 40 years I have never come across a rule that says children have to sit quietly at all times. What a shame.
Wont be coming back

A great find!
Stayed here for 2 nights whilst working nearby. A very friendly reception from the owner who helped us with the hook-up and gave local info. The hard- standing pitches had plenty of space between each. You felt in the heart of the countryside.
We visited the local village pub which was warm, friendly with a real fire blazing. We didn't eat there as we already had plans.
Very reasonably priced at £12 per night. We will definitely be staying again.

What a lovely little site! Very friendly owners both when booking by e-mail and when we arrived on site after travelling up from Dover on the hottest weekend of the year. Very convenient and easy to find from the motorway by following the C. C. C. Directions and a supermarket and reasonably priced fuel nearby for the onward journey. The hard standings are level and of a good size and there is also plenty of grass between and behind each pitch. You feel in the heart of the countryside even though so close to Birmingham etc. The only downside was that we had to move on after only one night but we will definitely use this site again.

Just back from a scorching weekend visit to this site. Only 10 miles away but we could have been anywhere.
Owner very friendly and laid back about where you pitch and when you leave.
Lovely setting and so cheap at £8 per night no hookup.
Freight trains were noticeable but not at night/early morning and we did a lovely walk along public footpath to the left of the road where you cross the railway line and go through beautiful meadows and fields full of blue cornflowers.
Highly recommend it if you want to get away from it all.

Spent an evening there last weekend in my VW Camper and will certainly be visiting again, a well laid out site with everything you need for a nice weekend. Hard standing with grass for awnings etc. Brian who owns the farm, very helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to visiting again and exploring some of the great Warwickshire countryside. Never ventured into the local village as got there in the dark and only stayed overnight but understand a local village shop and pub etc. Was also impressed with the 'site style' toilet that opens up to a proper toilet with heater.

We were very pleased with this CS. The owner is pleasant, friendly and helpful; he went and fetched our water and told us about the local shops and pubs. The site is quite new and still being developed with more hardstandings being made. There is a lovely old farmhouse adjacent which the owner is doing up.
It's easy to find, the directions in the C&CC handbook are spot on. It's about 3 miles from J4 of the M6. The only slight difficulty could be the railway bridge on the last approach to the site, but it's fine with care.
Apart from ehu, it has a loo with a heater, a thoughtful touch. Access to the site is easy, through a large double metal gate. If you want satellite tv, stop level with the gate, a barn will block your view further on.
There is a small shop in the row of houses, right and then left from the site, post office and 2 pubs (which we didn't try) in the village right and right from the site.
All in all, a very good site for a stopover or short stay, only marred by the almost continuous and nearby freight train noise. £8 per night can't be bad.

We stopped in January, the owners are very friendly and helpful.
It is quite a new site and still being developed with what looks like a site toilet but when the door is opened it reveals a proper clean toilet complete with a heater (lovely).
There are two shops locally (one bakes its own fresh bread) and several pubs nearby that serve food. Also there is a club within walking distance that makes you Very Very welcome.
The site owner could not be more helpful as when the water tap froze (minus 13d at night) he made sure everyone had water.
TIP, to stop aqua roll from freezing drop a low powered aquarium heater into it. Like Arny said "we will be back"
