Very disappointed, no hot water to wash your hands tap disconnected, hence only cold water, no where with hot water to wash pots, although toilets/shower clean no heating,

Wasn't cheap at £27 a night + £2 for porch awning or £3 for standard awning,

If you like quiet this is not for you as near a busy road.

On arrival we found our name on a pitch. We were sceptical about the choice we had made in the village of Easington, as it appeared very run down with the sea eating away at the shore line. However the campsite proved to be a little oasis of calm, lots of small birds and trees all around.

Hot shower, clean loo and a hookup - all that was required.

The lady running the campsite was extremely informative and friendly.

The site is handy for Spurn Point, Kilnsea wetlands nature reserve and bird watching. The local birders told us to use the reserve about two hours before high tide to ensure plenty to watch. It worked well.

We booked two nights at Sandalwood as it was close to the beach and our collie loves a good run on the beach. We arrived on a wet afternoon and there was a board next to the pitch with our name on it. The grounds looked neat and tidy but after pitching up we had to move the van as the grass turned to mud. The showers and toilets were clean, tidy and warm considering it was freezing outside.

The owners are very welcoming and full of information about the local area. We had a nice walk on the beach next day which is about ten minute walk through the village and there are plenty of other walks around. The only gripe we had with the site is that the pitches were a very odd shape and could do with being a bit larger and having more gravel to try and deal with the mud in inclement weather. Would be a lovely site in nice weather and we hope to get back in the summer.

We had 2 nights at this site

Found our name on a board next to a pitch so set up.

But didn't see anyone in the 2 days so we posted the money through the letterbox.

£14 a night with EHU,

Information leaflets were in the toilet to let you know what was about.

We found the site clean and well maintained shower and toilet was clean,

This is the first CL site we have used given that we have only used our caravan 5 times. The site is nice and small, very clean and well maintained. The showers and toilets were clean with plenty of hot water in the showers. The owner (Staff) is a very pleasant chap and we had a good old natter. I am a very fussy person when it comes to facilities and what I expect and I would recommend this to site to anyone. The only downside is that we struggled to get any kind of mobile signal, which was a bit strange but did not hinder us. We walked to the local village for a meal in the local pub. It was a nice meal and very friendly people. Overall it was an enjoyable 2 days.

This campsite is great, the owners very helpful and polite, very easy to approach. The toilets and showers are very clean and well looked after, as are the grounds of the campsite which are immaculate. Local shop and pubs with in walking distance and very close to lovely places to walk. I grew up in this area and my sister lives just down the road and can tell you this is the best campsite with in the area. We enjoyed it so much we booked in again for 4 weeks time.

We stayed for a couple of nights as the weather was brilliant.

We phoned the day before to book and were lucky to get a pitch. The owner was a polite and friendly gentleman.

The site is very clean and tidy. The toilets and showers were kept well mopped!

Lots of info on the local area.

The beach was in walking distance, down a track. There are other beaches if you want to drive.

Spurn point is well worth visiting and paying the entry fee.

The gas terminal is not far away.

There are some pubs in the local village.

We stayed for 1 night, great little find.

CC CL for 5 vans, all hard standing and with ehu, with two showers / toilets. The site just off the main road but very little traffic and no real road noise, owner very friendly and helpful. The site was well kept ie Grass well cut, all tidy and clean etc.

Very close to Spurn Point for bird watching. The site itself if right on the edge of the village for handy to walk into village.

T £12 for 2 adults its great value and would recommend this little gem and we will use again.

We headed to Easington to attend a party of a close friend and wanted somewhere to stop for the night and could not of found a better place than Sandalwood. From the moment we booked months in advance to the morning we departed, the customer service was spot on and I felt I had know Mr and Mrs Quinton for years! All the pitches were hardstanding and the surrounding grounds well groomed. The toilets and showers were very clean and welcoming. The cost for a one night cost £12, cheap as chips! The TV reception from the sight was good but don't count on a mobile telephone signal. In the village in one shop and three pubs and we recommend The Neptune for food and nice ales. There is a beach within walking distance and a couple more a short drive away. We have not stayed on many CL's but this has to be the best so far.
