Beautiful setting for a campsite in the grounds and park of the chateau. Most of the camping pitches were at the rear of the chateau, with some located further away on terraces with good views over the countryside. We arrived mid August and the campsite was very quiet.
However, the whole campsite had a rather 'past its best' feel. The sanitaires were just about clean enough and there were some maintenance issues with some of the showers. The pool was good, but there were few sun loungers, and the surrounding paving was uneven. The trees could do with trimming and the grass was very uneven.
We had a good few days there though. The welcome was friendly, definitely no noise disturbance and the scenery was lovely. We didn't use the restaurant or bar. There were washing machines and a freezer available for use (free). Lots of space for games etc. Including a football pitch. Several 'etangs' which I'm sure would be good for fishing if you wanted.

The site is very large but does not seem so, as the areas are dotted in glades amongst the woods.
There are several, very well appointed shower/toilet blocks with lashings of hot water. There are also small shower cubicles dotted around ( they look a bit like those new fangled plastic public loos!).
There is a very large, covered swimming pool and paddling complex and several crazy golf and table tennis areas. There were bars and restaurant (not open in May).
Locally the bread shops in Luzy are worth a visit. The one in the main high Street has queues from 7 am, and that is just for the locals.
Just up the road, about20 km, is the hill fort of Bibracte. There is a fantastic museum on the artifacts of the Gauls, Helvettii etc. It was the home of Vercingetorix and where Julius Caesar completed the writing on the The Gallic Wars. (However no mention of Asterix)
South West from the site at Toulon sur Arroux there is a restaurant 'La Cremaillere' just by the bridge and river. Get there for 12 noon to have 'le menu'. You sit where there is room, cheek by jowl with the locals, and the food is served, 5 courses and coffee. It was fantastically cooked, obviously very popular with businessmen and builders. Best bit, it only cost 11.50 euros.
In Luzy there is an Attac supermarket, which was a bit grotty, but had everything including petrol.
An added bonus for the site, it takes Vacancesoleil cheques (which you buy in the Uk for £9) and it is for 2 people, car, unit and showers.
We will probably return when wandering the area
