 This is our usual local site, the one we always come back to. We love pitch number 1. The new toilet/shower block is fab, not quite finished but fully useable. Walking distance to pub and shop and just a car journey away from glous/ ross/ Hereford. Quaint little campsite with the peace and tranquillity that keeps dragging us back, it's like visiting family. Something for all the family

Lovely site with fantastic views, very friendly owners, couldn't help anymore if they tried, pub food lovely at the bottom of the site, easy to get to ross on wye, and Gloucester, forest of dean etc. Facility just a portaloo at the minute as they are building a new block, just beware if you have a car you would need to be pulled up the hill to get the best view, which is no problem for phil the owner, and if bad on the legs be aware you have to get back up the hill again ! next to a field with the horses and lovely walks

Very small and basic site about 5 miles outside of Ross. If you want fancy toilet blocks (there is a loo but no shower)and children's play area, this is not for you. If you want peace and quiet, fantastic views and a great pub next door for a quick pint, then it's perfect. The food there is good but nothing special, but is incredible value for money and the staff are really friendly. We had a lovely weekend at this place and I'm sure we'll return.

Nice site, very clean. Basic but has all you need.
Owners said they were planning new toilet & shower block, this would be a huge benefit as current amenities are rather dated, but clean & working.
Lovely views.
No play area for kids but plenty of room to run around.
Very nice owners who are approachable & more than happy to help. Overall, the site is very tranquil & peaceful.
Well stocked shop & newsagent across the road.
Great pub with friendly staff & fantastic food right next door.
Would definitely come again
