 Stayed here for 2 nights in July with 2 teenage boys, we really liked this site. It was quiet and relaxed. There was a bar and restaurant/cafe where we had our tea on the first evening. The staff were kind and very helpful as we speak very little Spanish/Catalan and they spoke little English. We enjoyed the food, the boys were able to have something like burger and chips and I had salad. The toilet block was clean and the showers worked well. We swam in the pool which good but not very big. There was a playground for children but I didn't really take note of it. Besalu was lovely, for me, possibly the best place we saw on our 2 weeks holiday. A quiet medieval town with lots of small shops, probably gets busier in the main holidays. There was a spar supermarket in Besalu. The campsite was quite a way out of the town driving so would be difficult without transport

This site has a very relaxed feel about it, facilities are all good not quite up to UK standards.
The real beauty of this site is its location 25 mins from Costa Brava, 25 mins from Pyrenees. Excellent walking country, Besalu is a stunning Medeival town.
Site has touring/tent pitches and there own static / chalets to let, just enjoy being in a beautiful part of Catalonia,
We shall certainly return.
