Nice campsite. Friendly and helpful receptionist.
Nice having your own shower room next to pitch. Water nice and hot but no heating.
Nice walk behind campsite with countryside views. Can also walk that to Caceres centre. About 2 miles each way.

Used this site as a stop-over going south.
The site is easy to find and the reception helpful and friendly.
We didn't use Acsi but if we had it would have saved 8 euros.
The pitches are nose to tail and with our van being quite long we found a pitch where we could leave the van hitched up.
Every pitch has its own toilet and shower which is quite unique.
Nice walk at the back of the site for your dog.
We ate in the restaurant which was very good and value for money.

Used this as an overnight stop on was back to Santander from Albufiera.
Site easy to find off A66. If travelling North you will pass a Carrefour to get cheap fuel and food.
Tiered site with own shower/wash/toilet. Unique but efficient. Site has a swimming pool and restaurant offering three set menus.
When next this way we will stop longer to explore Caceres which can be reached by bus from here.

We’d last overnighted here in 2015. As before a warm welcome at this excellent site with good facilities and given the Acsi price worthy of a stay for more than one night.
Contrary to the last (Aril 2019 review) there are dishwashing facilities with lots of hot water in the laundrette area.
The pool and pool area is indeed magnificent overlooked by the restaurant (with terrace) serving reasonably priced and very enjoyable meals.
Wifi is free and flies in the pool, restaurant and reception area and is fine at the pitches.
In our years of motorhoming it’s still the only one we’ve stayed in with en suite pitch facilities with piping hot water.
While we didn’t go into Caceres this time it is certainly worth a visit and plans are that next time we are passing through we’ll stay longer.

The staff at reception were pleasant, friendly and helpful and gave us good information about buses into Caçeres.
The pitches are gritty hardstandings, some shaded by trees and others under mesh canopies. They're fairly wide but close together in that the front of one van is very close to the rear of the next. Electricity is 15 amps.
The individual washrooms for each pitch are okay but their only advantage really is that you don't need to walk to a washblock. There are no wash-up sinks so we had to do that in the van. Outside each washroom is a water tap over a grubby rough stone sink. There's also water available from a green hose and we might have been tempted to fill the van's fresh water tank with had we not seen the Dutch motorhomer on the next pitch poking his down into his toilet cassette to rinse it. There is a motorhome service point.
Bread is available at 8am without having to order it. The site is in a good position with cheap half-hourly buses into Caçeres, and it's good value for money, we paid €18 a night including electricity, using an ACSI card.

Good campsite on the edge of Caceres, next to football stadium. We appreciated the 'en suite' facilities which were clean, and everything worked well.
The swimming pool was magnificent ( and very clean), reception helpful, and easy to catch the bus into the old town, which is well worth the visit.
Bus drivers are clearly used to visitors and very helpful in calling out the stop, as were the locals in directing us to the old town.
They were offering 4 nights for the price of 3 when we stayed (ACSI rate) although we felt for us 2 nights was enough, as traffic was rather heavy for cycling, even on the quieter roads.

We did like this site, though there were the very minor beginnings of the dreaded 'tarpaulin city' effect. To be encountered in its full horror later in the tour. This is a place that can get HOT. 32/34 when we were there for a couple of days as a stop over. A few days later we heard via news that temperatures had reached 47!
Visited Cacares via Taxi. 6 to 8 euros each way. The 'ensuite' toilet /shower block for your personal use on your pitch was useful.

We stayed on this site for 2 nights to visit the nearby city. We found the check in process very easy and reception friendly and helpful. We were allocated a space and given the key for the private bathroom which is available on each pitch. Being in a tent, we really appreciated this luxury and the bathrooms were very nice - spotlessly clean and plenty of space to hang towels, keep toiletries etc. There was plenty of hot water. I wish more campsites would offer these.
Our pitch was flat - it had quite a lot of small stones on it and some were quite sharp but we managed to clear it enough to put the groundsheet down. There was plenty of space for our tent and car on the pitch with room to sit outside on either front or side of the tent.
The wifi is free and reaches across the site so we were able to access the internet in our tent. It was pretty good most of the time although seemed to drop off in the evenings.
We found the site very well located for visiting Caceres old town. We drove in and parked in the multi-storey car park just outside the old town and spent the day walking around the old streets. There is an excellent museum which has free entry.
For provisions, we found the Carrefour on the edge of town most convenient.
We found the site quiet on the whole. Quiet time is from 1am to 8am so we thought it might be quite noisy in the evenings but it was actually very quiet all the time even though there were plenty of units on site.

Majority of pitches were small, not enough space even for a small porch awning on our small caravan. Pitch space reduced due to 'individual pitch wet rooms'. These wet rooms had good showers, but let down by leaky basin plumbing. Site seems to have been designed for motorhome stop overs, not touring caravans.
Restaurant open but large swimming pool closed. Bus stop opposite campsite entrance, campsite by large football ground, but no games played whilst there, so site quiet. Nearest supermarket (Carrefour) in Caceres. Used ACSI card.
