Lovely campsite on the side of the Elbe river but is 23 miles from the centre of Hamburg although there are several buses a day which connect with the train at Winsen - The journey takes around 1 hour and you can buy a day rover ticket for around €9 a day which covers bus/train/ferry travel around the city. The campsite is split into several sections with a stellplatz included and parking is along the banks of the river with sanitary blocks in several locations which were clean and serviced several times a day. On site are two restaurants and small supermarket with fresh bread daily. WIFI is available at €3 per day.
